Thanks - There are about 6 different pieces including the screws, tools, jack, jack extension, and some white cone piece(still not sure what that is). I just want to try and put everything back in correct location with correct orientation, so it is not moving around back there, etc. I did...
Hey Guys,
I have a 2D non-Sas BL, but guessing they are all the same. I had 1st flat and was able to pull everything out and piece together the Jack, extension, etc and change the tire with no issues. The issue now is figuring out where each piece goes back to. I can see where the screws...
Everyone keeps acting like since they have had no issues with ASS, that they never will. Like I mentioned earlier, I never cared for it but had stopped pushing the button for hundreds of starts because it seemed to work 100%... and then I ended up stuck in the middle of the road for 10 minutes...
I have a 23 Badlands that does not have Sport Mode. I know I can add it in, but I do not want to have to select it each time I start the Bronco. Just looking for something simple. Has anyone been able to use Forscan to get it to default to Sport mode without having to select it, or hit OK...
I could not agree more. I would rather have something simple that I can actually remove from my Bronco and throw it in the garage floor when I am in a hurry and do not work to spend time unsealing the the tight windows and putting them in a bag, etc. and drive with an accordion parachute on top.
I use the Ford fixed Rear Enclosure for the 2D and it would be perfect for me, if the lid folded up. The main issue for me is the lid will not fold up or easily be removed when tailgate is open. I need it because TopLiftPro will not work with that on, and sometimes when I am out I need to put...
Bikini Top
I have a 2D and do not care for the 2D trektop for a few reasons. So I use the front of my mic when it is raining, but when it is cloudy I need something simple and the bimini top is really horrific. There is a guy (https://broncobikini.com/) that makes an almost perfect bikini top...
Yes - I am in the same spot and hoping to hear of a Forscan update where you can disable it, or put the Bronco into Sport mode every start. I have a Badlands and have not added Sport because I do not need it, but will add it if there is a way to change another Forecan code to default to it...
There have been a few threads of problems, including mine, that lots of people want to ignore. Do a search for auto stop/start left me stuck in middle of road at night with semi truck trying to backup past me in reverse.
I had thought the same and had no issue for several months with several hundred starts/stops, and had stopped disabling it, and then 2 weeks ago it left me dead in the middle of a road with no street lights, blocking traffic, and my flashers on at night. It eventually started back up and...
The funny thing is I have watched hours of youtube videos by Dr. John Christy, Dr. Patrick Moore, and Dr. Judith Curry and also read the critiques of Dr. Michael Mann's published articles and where he pulled his charts from. When you really spend hours going through both sides, you realize it...
If anyone ever finds a new Forscan method to disable Auto-Start/Stop, please post. I know the Forscan change worked fine for older Broncos, but multiple posts have indicated the Forscan updates no longer work with the newer 2023 and 24 Broncos.
It looks like the forum moderator put this into Issues and Repairs, but it felt more like a glitch. I have kept the OTA updates disabled for past 5 months because I am an Enterprise Admin for an extremely large company and see all the issues that constantly occur from updates with computers...
I have re-thought it a few times and here are some notes. I do not think I ever hit the button and powered it off, but I agree sometimes you can do stuff quick and not notice. I did get out of the Bronco with the key fob in my pocket and got at least 50 yards away, so maybe that was a factor...
I am sure the Bronco was stopped for a few seconds/minutes before it went into Park, and the Bronco probably shut the engine off there. I understand that you are saying this is not normal and it must be related to something else, but to me any issues or problems restarting a Bronco in the...
Here is where I disagree. If I stop the Bronco with foot on the brake and the engine never stops when Bronco is idle, I do not think I ever have an issue.
I have read it is supposed to auto-restart when put into Park, etc. but the issue here is with the engine auto-stopping(unless I hit the...
I really do not know, but maybe. It did not say no key detected, like it does sometimes when I forget the FOB. Bronco is 6 months old with 2500 miles on it. I did go into Ford app on my iphone and no warnings in there, etc. It was like I could not turn it off either. If anyone knows of a...
I posted a thread, down below, in July asking if anyone had any issues with the auto-stop.start on their Broncos. I did not get much of a response of actual issues, but I was going to disable it in Forscan anyway. I went to do it in Forscan and noticed the 2023s have a new code 023A in...
