The best under hood light I had was the stock one on my '85 Bronco. It was hard wired, could be pulled out via the retractable cord, and had a magnetic back.

My '21 2-DR with 11,572 on the clock, and always garage kept, has no cracks IF VIEWED FROM STREET LEVEL. Take the top off, or look down from above with a ladder, there are 38 cracks above the passenger side window.
No, and to be fair, I have the same wheels with silver rings. But, I would rather have nice bright aluminum wheels... always loved the Centerline Pro Stock 2's.

Maybe I'm just too old to be cool, but in general, "blacked out" always equals "cheap" in my mind. It's Iike, they couldn't make something out of a quality material, so they make it out of junk and paint it black.
You don't have to break the bank to try something out either. I put this set of US made spread beam KC's on my mod bumper, paid $100 for the set that came with the wiring harness, wired to Aux 1.
I've used it on sand trails for tight turns. It's not an every day type feature, but when you need it, it's nice to have.
