Looking good! You have done all the white paint mods that I wanted to do some day. But I have to wait for a 4-door white modular hard top in the aftermarket. Iāll be studying how you did that grille ā nice detail work there, masking the outer edges to look true to the vintage look.
Nothing Iāve seen yet. I keep watching for aftermarket bumpers that might have integrated a receiver, and even suggested it to one company.
A DIY option looks possible, but a fair amount of effort. I have removed the plastic cover to better inspect the front recovery mounts. It is not a...
FWIW, I had success with the Mongoose JLR adapter from my Land Rover. I took a chance and gave it a try with FORScan, and it recognizes the adapter automatically! Maybe because Ford owned Land Rover a while back, they are using the same networks?
I could not get my new OBDLink MX+ to work with...
Nope, that doesnāt work. The system only disables itself when the button is released. This must be what the eliminator does electronically every time you start the vehicle.
I remember seeing that menu when I took delivery in December 2021.
I do wonder if this āfeatureā has been remotely disabled by an over-the-air update on mine though, since the procedure didnāt work for me.
This is exactly what is concerning me now that I mounted my new winch to the hitch mount. Itās working great on the rear receiver; I used it to move a huge rock in the woods on my property. I will have to plan ahead for off roading and toss it in the back. I would never drive with it...
Did the 175 Anderson connectors. Modified a 1/0 AWG jumper cable set. Itās not permanently mounted at the front and rear, but the new plug under the hood is ready for the extension cable any time I need to connect a front or rear winch or inverter/deep cycle battery.
The Rokblokz flaps were a bit pricey, but a super easy and sturdy install. Their install video was awesome(on YouTube). They supply steel brackets and you reuse some beefy existing bolts to attach. Plus they are quickly removable for the trail with thumb screws. If your budget can handle it, and...
Ok everyone, maybe my cheap idea wasnāt so bad. This was my first mod after getting the Bronco. It cost about $15 for the aluminum angle at Home Depot. I took my time and spent an evening cutting, filing, drilling and painting this simple bracket. I think itās the best locationāout of all...
Nice info hereāthanks to those pics I was brave enough to also make a 1ā hole dead center of the middle dash compartment.
Some tips: 1) There are several wires under there, so drill slowly by hand. Itās just plastic. Wear a rubberized work glove and turn the drill/hole saw by hand until it...
I am looking for a front receiver too, but compatible with the modular steel bumper. I want to be able to mount a removable winch for times I may want to pull logs, or for trail recovery, but also want the flexibility to mount the winch to the rear.
I looked underneath and saw some robust...
I just plugged in my ScanGauge II for the first time in my 2021 Bronco, after having used it since my 2006 F-350 and ā13 Jetta TDI. The standard gauges mostly work by default. I have decided this device is mostly obsolete. Everything from mileage, temps, boost, etc are mostly available right...
