Nope, that doesn’t work. The system only disables itself when the button is released. This must be what the eliminator does electronically every time you start the vehicle.

I remember seeing that menu when I took delivery in December 2021. I do wonder if this “feature” has been remotely disabled by an over-the-air update on mine though, since the procedure didn’t work for me.

I was going to use dielectric grease, then I read that Anderson specifies a white lithium grease. I am sure either would be better than nothing.

Did the 175 Anderson connectors. Modified a 1/0 AWG jumper cable set. It’s not permanently mounted at the front and rear, but the new plug under the hood is ready for the extension cable any time I need to connect a front or rear winch or inverter/deep cycle battery.
