I'll bite.
Same as a couple others here.
We call ours "the Bronco" inspired by the Ford Bronco Ford created back in 1966.
Our other rigs also have the same careful considerations given "the mustang" the other mustang" " the Jeep" " the truck" the car...
The newer mustangs and Lincolns were a hard pass for me since so many everyday controls went to the "screen" I dont want to drive my phone, I dont keep phones but I do keep cars, that's my rub with the progression on this type of stuff.
Planned obsolescence
In economics and industrial design...
Jeep was the only girl at the dance, now other women have showed up to the dance...
Jealousy was and is bound to be had by some folks.
I pay no attention anymore, idiot drivers in all makes and models...
True, depending on vehicle rotation though and parking in the garage or not, mood pending, I always enter my home thru the garage so all rigs need remote garage access.
I have the OHD Anywhere app on my phone and it works great but I dont like having another reason to "have to have" my phone...
I like this for security reasons when the top is off. I always have to remember to take my remote with me when the top is off in driveway at night.
The common theif will look for the remote and not think the uplift button is the garage door opener, I'm assuming the garage door will not open if...
Older Jeepers now and then give a couple finger wave off the wheel.
But generally speaking most jeepers I see are looking REALLY HARD LEFT, REALLY HARD RIGHT or very very intenstly toward the floor.
WIng on the back?
Now that's funny stuff, too much stop it...
Only to be out done by a truck with a wing on it... I needed a good laugh today, thank you guys.
The black out of the upper frame/ rollbar confirms what I planned to do to my 2dr will work, seeing is believing, think that looks way better than matching the body color.
Tops usually off so no matter to me on that if I had one.
Knew it...
Day 1 & day 2 reservations, 2 door and 4 door respectively, bought both when delivered in june/ july 2022.
The 4 door (Black diamond Hard top) arrived first and we took a couple trips in it over a month and had some fun in it, but I couldn't help but feel it was a $25k-$30k rig at...
I love my fords, hope they don’t change or ruin the body except maybe make more retro styling.
Ford took the record breaking 2005 mustang retro redesign and ran it right into the ground in 5-10 years depending on your point of view.
Ford sometimes forgets what brought them to the dance.
No fan of China here, been saying it for 30 years their coming.
Watch “American Factory” on Netflix and see how serious they are at just making glass and the American worker their trying to train.
They've been quietly working hard with our money while we’ve been quietly asleep at the switch.
If...
its is true laws in place for poke and tint and front plate in most states like nj
Agreed, all 3 in my state too.
I have no front plate, over legal tint, only about 1" tire poke so not worried about poke.
I always assume I can be pulled over for no front plate or tint at any time, all my...
Be aware of the chain of custody of your key FOB when having service work done.
Droppin your rig off for the day at the dealer, auto shop, tint, or where ever. Lord only knows whos cloning or capturing your signal, sure thing is they have all day or longer to do it.
I see way too many super...
Many folks see a simple 2 + 2 = 4 and anything beyond that their getting the shaft.
25 years in business myself there are so many things beyond raw material costs none business minded folks don’t see or even know exist.
Raw materials, money cost to by materials, infrastructure costs, equipment...
I totally agree, the 12" looks silly for my use of the rig.
Although there were some goodie going to the high/ lux package I would have liked to have, I would have been stuck with a 12" screen. Would have been nice to have the option for the smaller screen... Doubt either screen will last as...
I was disappointed too on the ones I bought for length.
Maybe a little ghetto on my part but they were going in.
I did equal twists till I found the right combo of usability/tension, visually noticeable but not visually obstructing.
The right eye will notice but nobody has yet, till something...
