Oof! My TDI Jetta and gas Golf had lots of issues, which can either be poor design or build. It convinced me NEVER to buy another German car as we had only owned Japanese prior.
The Bronco is our first American car and our 10th overall I believe.
How is it quieter?
We have the hard top with the sound insulation. I haven't noticed any cracks, but I haven't checked closely. Where do they show up and how big are they?
We have 5k miles left in our 3/36 so we've been trying to check for any issues and currently everything is great. Only...
My wife's at 13 months old is at 29k miles by 4 years we will be over 100k easily as she isn't making her trip around the lake to Michigan on a bi-weekly basis, which adds 6k additional miles a year.
My wife's '24 is out of warranty in 6k miles which will be January/February. Hopefully you aren't that close. I'd look at lemon laws in your state as it appears you got a bad Bronco as my shifting/clutch has been a pleasant surprise.
Thanks for the update. Ours is shifting perfectly, but when we change the fluid I will make sure to specify this one as the cost difference relative is probably marginal.
Best of luck. In January our Bronco goes into for its last LOF at the dealer before our 3/36 expires via mileage. I am...
i live alone and its my only car so I need a loaner and they seem to be unwilling to give me one for diagnosing.
Bite the bullet and rent a car. If you shop around you can get some reasonable deals and only be out of pocket for $100 while diagnostics happen.
We have a 2024 Big Bend 7MT non-Sas...
I would bring it to your Ford dealer at least once for an oil change before the warranty expires.
We are the exact opposite where my wife's Bronco will be out of mileage warranty at 14 months. We brought it in for an oil change and they found something minor to fix under warranty. We plan...
The driver clearly didn't do the Bronco Offrodeo as we learned to drive over objects like rocks with your tire and not the center of your chassis as the differential hangs low. My other big takeaway was don't avoid driving in the rut as your tire in the rut will keep you from sliding sideways...
It is a super big and nice venue so there are a lot of costs should they not be able to fill your spot.
I do recommend against the RT Lodge UNLESS you plan to use the benefits of the resort as the rooms aren't comfortable and breakfast isn't anything special
You are right

it is the Ranger not the Maverick. There is a lot of sloppiness by in searches and articles dropping the Sport designation. Ford does long-term damage to the Bronco brand by having the Sport.
I can be that person as I will ask people about their Bronco or even how someone like their Maverick as I was curious since it is the same platform.
The weirdest thing with the car the Bronco replaced 2012 Nissan XTerra Pro 4X. I saw person this week at the dog park who had the exact same...
Obviously a low mileage driver as my wife's will be out of the factory warranty before 14 months old.
If we could've made more money than the interest rate we would've considered it, but usually those low rates are in lieu of a rebate.
Her previous vehicle was a 2012 XTerra bought new we'd be dumba**es not to have saved up money in 12 years to buy our '24.
We had to plan for it and wait for CD expirations as we normally only keep $25k easily accessible aka money markets.
Find a friend who has ton of manual experience and have them test drive it. I wouldn't trust the mechanic has any manual experience. With our '24 and my wife and me having never driven American manual the adjustment was seamless. Obviously it would be better if the friend has been driving...
My wife did the dealer pickup and dropoff and it worked really well. The porter even could drive manual and followed the instructions about backing it into her spot at work. Note: Backing in is a corporate safety initiative SMH.
If you work anywhere near a dealer this is super nice. We...
I've heard mixed things about this. The instructors at the Offrodeo specifically talked about NOT putting the onus on your transmission to hold your vehicle. These were all automatics.
My wife and I drive our manuals totally differently but it has worked for each of us:
She leaves the...
I like the idea, but question the execution. The off with separate rollback protection is more foolproof.
How would you tow/winch it OR intentionally roll your vehicle like adjust it a few feet in the garage with that feature?
I adjust vehicles in my garage front to back at least every couple...
