  1. No 4x4 from the factory

This is bullshit, the machine sucks as much as it can but it doesn't flush a differential. (Unless they drastically changed the machine design) All they do is use a thin tube to get as deep as possible to suck as much fluid out as it can. Shavings/debris will plug the tube not get sucked...
  2. Bronco Raptor with painted fender flares (rendered)

Still not a fan of the flares but yes they look better painted than the raw black plastic.
  3. Cactus Gray is Popular!

It doesn't photograph easily but it looks great in full sun. I had to visit a dealership to see it in person before ordering. Though I'll say I like Toyota's lunar rock a little better.
  4. Cactus Gray is Popular!

    Same
  5. How many miles should be on your bronco when you receive

Mine had 39 but the paperwork says it had 8. I didn't make a fuss about 31 mile discrepancy but in your case I'd make sure the dealer notes the actual miles at delivery as that effects your warranty coverage. Warranty starts from the miles at sale, not 0.
  6. 2.7 Gas Mileage - 11.2 MPG!?!

Car computer tells me 16-18 on the highway (head and cross winds kill MPG). Calculating MPG at every tank I have yet to break 17, averaging about 16.5mpg on mostly freeway driving cruise set at 75mph.
  7. Cause for significant drop in mileage in 2.7 L?

The science is there is less energy in ethanol than gasoline so diluting the gas means you need to burn more to release the same energy. The trade off is the carbon is "neutral" because the next crop of corn absorbs the carbon to grow, that's the theory at least.
  8. Cause for significant drop in mileage in 2.7 L?

I've found the displays to be very optimistic. Might be worth using an app like "Fillup" where it uses miles and gallons added to calculate your actual mpg plus allows you to add notes to each trip for tracking. I realize that doesn't explain the sudden dip but it might help diagnose it over...
  9. Cause for significant drop in mileage in 2.7 L?

Just out of curiosity are you trusting the displayed MPG or calculating your mileage when you fill up? My daily commute is about 50 miles of Freeway/highway and I've been averaging 15-16 calculated while the display is telling me 17+
  10. 2.7 Gas Mileage - 11.2 MPG!?!

I use trip 1 to track my miles per tank and so far the highest calculated MPG I've seen is 16.8 and the lowest is 15.1. On the 15.1 tank the nifty average MPG display on the dash said 17.4 which is a 15% error...
  11. What’s in your garage???

    Just my Badlands 🤷‍♂️
  12. Much to do about Crashbars

As a mechanical engineer I'd say "Too many variables to tell", but I can see in this shot that the jeep wheel appears to tuck under the body possibly triggering the weight transfer that results in the eventual roll. 🤷‍♂️
  13. Much to do about Crashbars

Interesting how the Bronco almost "lowered it's shoulder into the impact" while the Jeep was tossed on its ear. LOL
  14. CACTUS GRAY Bronco Club

I don't have any pictures off road yet.
  15. 80 MPH Winds Tests Limits of Bronco Soft Top

I just saw that video. With the soft top opening on the sides maybe that guy with the snow in his didn't actually leave it open.
  16. Enough Broncos are being delivered that we're seeing them on the road occasionally

Depending on what day that was, and what color yours is, I might have. Before I took delivery on mine I saw at least one heading west on I-80 as I was headed home from work. It was Cyber Orange (yellow). I might have seen 1 or 2 others on I-80 but that one stood out. I just haven't seen...
  17. Enough Broncos are being delivered that we're seeing them on the road occasionally

As much as I like the 4Runner, and am interested in what they do with it for the refresh, if Toyota is already playing these games I'm less likely to consider buying one. https://www.thedrive.com/news/43329/toyota-made-its-key-fob-remote-start-into-a-subscription-service
  18. Enough Broncos are being delivered that we're seeing them on the road occasionally

So far I've only seen one for sale at a used car dealer. Haven't seen another on on the roads here in Lincoln NE yet. lol
  19. Who here paid ADM (Adjusted Dealer Markup) for their Bronco?

Under invoice for me. Thank you @Zach@Granger & @Granger Ford
