Thanks!! In a bit of analysis paralysis on the tires. Saw the Nittos on a youtube video— looked awesome and lots of good reviews, lower noise than the KO2s. But then lots of reviews saying the KO2s are quieter.
Got a quote to replace the stock Black Diamond tires with Nitto Ridge Grappler 295 70/R17 and one inch level on front. $2300. Online prices for parts seems around $1800. $500 for labor doesnt seem too crazy but have no idea what is charged to level just the front tires. Thoughts?
So trying to get remotivated. Dealer has one or two more days to update me on the windshield or Im calling.
To get me back into the groove, Ive started looking at accessories, again. As everything is costing more these days, Ive had to prioritize my wish list for upgrades. My “fun” things...
Im still waiting to hear when mine goes through windshield surgery. Dealer was supposed to try to expedite last week- not sure if they were contracting the work out or waiting for materials. Honestly, Im
a bit burned out on this whole process.
We’re staying in Waves or Salvo this year - cant remember which one. You would have driven through them on way to Hatteras. The house we are renting is right on Route 12 on the ocean side so short walk to beach or a couple minute
drive to the auto accessible area. Plus should be able to catch...
I did receive my baby bronco photo and it was dirty like it had been outside and it had the same dirt pattern when i saw her at the dealer. Maybe theyve finally made a secondary assembly line to retrofit missing modules, etc? Or perhaps vehicle photo came in the accessory shack you mentioned...
When I went to complain to my dealer about the windshield recall - my bronco finally having been delivered on Wednedsay from its stay on the Mountain from the 1/17 build week - the manager said he heard Ford had hired a firm to help prioritize vehicles held in limbo, and he thought they were...
Either the drugs I took for anti-inflammation (since the pain really isnt there unless I move funny) are masking everything or Im having an amazing recovery because calf felt 1000x better last night.
Happy Fourth to everyone!
The hits keep coming for me. Messing around doing a silly work out with my wife and son last night, I felt a pop in my calf muscle. Fortunately not the achilles— injured calf muscle in something commonly called “tennis leg”. Get to wear a boot!! Such a joy headed to the Phillies / Cardinals...
Went to the dealer before dinner.
We all know these delays are not the dealers’ fault but I pleaded my case, Ice Mountain, expiring rate lock etc. Manager said he has a guy waiting 10 months for a F150. In the Voice mail my new sales guy left me indicated they would be sending the Bronco out...
Once done work, Im driving over and talking to the manager. Im guessing I wont be able to take it home without the repair. Quite honestly, I dont want to buy it with the recall (although concerned about my rate lock) but they need to push this through. The Ice Mountain hold isnt the dealer’s...
So my dealer doesnt feel comfortable doing the glass and has to send it out to a body shop. 2-3 weeks. I cant wait to drive over there at end of work day. This whole process has been absolutely absurd.
So on a happier discussion— I was considering upgrade to 33inch tires on the stock BD wheels. When I saw my rig today I second guessed that thinking stock tires looked good
my wife thinks the stock tires look whimpy and dont fill out the well enough. 33s would help a little but…
Would the ride...
My current worry is that there is word on this forum that windshield work orders are already out into August. I dont want to purchase a vehicle with an issue but my current finance rate lock expires end of July. Ford better make this right and in a hurry.
