It's a 6/10 probably not the best place for a novice to be alone. It's not horribly difficult but you can get into trouble. Plus, Sedona is high enough you can get snow and ice this time of year. Bring a friend.
The well traveled Sedona rocks can be...
I'm probably going to forge a clamp with a thumb screw for the job, just because if it's worth doing, it's worth over-doing.
I now have it on good authority that the nuts can be re-used so long as they are torqued to spec, 165Nm. Which I believe means a 1/2" torque wrench and 13/16 impact...
I did not know that. Thanks. I am certain there is a solution to that, which I will look into.
Though, it's almost certainly not a mission critical component. If it fails catastrophically it's just a sway bar you're out.
This is a maybe. Is it bent below the bolt hole or at or above the bolt hole. The metal below the bolt hole is selvedge, it's there to protect the LCA mounting and to keep the bolt itself from tearing out. If that's all that's bent it hurts nothing to bend it back with a big crescent. DO NOT USE...
Drive it that way for a week. Badge or honor, no mall crawler here. :)
Seriously, with a rig that you're gonna use for off road duty you can't be too anal about the finish. Each pinstripe, Mar and dent tells a story. These aren't soulless mall duty appliances, they aren't artificial show cars...
We have become so overly reliant on technology that we've lost basic skills. Carry paper quad maps of your area and a compass and some basic survival gear. Generally speaking, "out there" is rarely more than a half day hike from some kind of civilization. AK and CA are exceptions and those...
Non-Badlands swaybar disconnect.
Very simple, takes under 5 minutes if you're prepared. Less time than it takes to air down.
13/16 socket, Ryobi 18v cordless impact and 4 zip ties. Remove bottom bolt of end link underside of LCA. It will take some effort to push the bar up for the end link...
Mabett water resistant floor pans. Recently received and installed. I say installed, but really these just slide right into place. No muss no fuss. My biggest compliment on these is that since putting them in, I do not notice they are there. Waterproof, mud proof, dog hair proof. They don't move...
Congratulations. Pretty Bronco, what color interior? OB has the best interior colors available, and good call on the two door. 😅 Bronco has a very proud legacy in the four wheeling world,... Welcome.
If you're interested, there will be an off-road community in your area. Attend a couple easy...
Your other products are so good, I'm definitely interested in the two door version.
If you wanted to make a Yakima style platform I'd be interested in that as well.
On my hip or concealed shoulder holster. It's the only solution I have found in several decades of carrying that deals best with all of my needs. If I'm going somewhere I can't carry the gun stays home. The problem with mount in the vehicle is walking away from it. I will not leave a weapon in...
I'm quoting your response to me in line to start my review. I chose to do seat covers for two reasons, first, dog hair management. Second, I drove an Outer Banks at OffRoadeo and really loved the saddle color. These pictures don't give a great representation of that, they are actually a very...
Probably true. Low CG, narrower tires, AWD (center diff), they have a lot going for them in that respect if you combine them with snow tires. But you still have to slow down.
There are quite a lot of people who seem to think that 4WD/AWD makes you invincible in inclement weather. It never ceases to amaze me how people in an Audis, Subarus, Tahoes, Broncos, Pickups, etc., will fly past me in bad weather when I'm going just under the speed limit. The reality of the...
