I finally got a built email for my 2021 OBX which was in production on 12/14. However, that was a week ago. My dealer called today and said that it was still on a chip hold and there is no update on when it will be shipped.
I ordered the 2022, but the dealership is saying that it would be a year before I would get it because I would be at the bottom of the list. I ordered a BB with the SAS. Does that sound right to anyone? He said he didn't know their allocation, but I see BB being picked left and right.
I didn't have a day one reservation, but I literally did the same thing. Used my reservation to order a 2022 BB to see if it gets scheduled before April.
So, I pulled the trigger on a 2022. My reservation was still sitting out there on the website, so I configured a Big Bend with everything I wanted and submitted it. I figured that if I'm not getting this thing until April, then I might as well get the current model year. I'll see what the dealer...

For what it's worth, my dealer called a couple weeks ago and said it would be the end of January. Not sure if they have inside info, but they called me. I've been in production since 12/14.
My dealer called me this morning and said that my delivery will likey be at the end of the month (12/11/21 blend date). Still no built email. Now we wait.

Thanks for the information! To be honest, I'm more interested in the higher gear ratio that comes with the rear locker. I'm concerned with a drop in performance if I go to bigger tires.
