Mine got to Exodus in July for install. Wonder if mine are missing the dowel due to misalignment. I doubt if the installer would remember if it was installed with it or not...
I seem to recognize the spelling. I believe this has to be from the Nigerian prince I've gotten emails from. Maybe, instead of $500,000,000.00 USD; he'll offer me this Bronco by sending my bank information???
Having had mine installed 3.5 hours away and replacing the drain plugs due to seepage, these caliper issues kind of frighten me. I really not mechanical enough to understand all the interworkings so I guess I'll just keep ensuring they are tight. 😱
Wife's 23 WT now just has the white bronco. Not sure about mine because it's been in the shop for almost 2 weeks now trying to fix the side mirror cameras for the 4th time.
Talked to Chad today to let him know an o-ring tore in half on one of the fill plugs. I also asked if there is a torque value so that the o-ring doesn't bubble out the edge. This has caused some seepage with driving. He was going to get with Bubba to find out which batch I was in and I forgot...
So I didn't copy Stroppe, but I did indirectly. I copied Brad Lovell who honored Stroppe with his 4400 Bronco livery. Complete with 74Weld portals. I still think portals should have been an option from the factory. I might have to change my livery once this wrap is destroyed. (Which it's...
The dealership that I've been using for service has been great. They've really struggled fixing the side cameras for the 360 system however. They go black intermittently. It's been in 4 or 5 times. I understand it's difficult to fix something that's intermittent. However, last time I picked it...
LOL!!! Same. With them leaking my greatest fear is running with not enough oil. And since I wasn't sure how much was in them I drained and refilled. Thank goodness I wasn't using Amsoil!
None that I can tell. I had 2 leaking and 2 were fine. I just wrapped 2 new ones in teflon and installed. We'll see how they hold. I always am amazed they leak. When removing the drain plugs you can basically completely unscrew them and oil doesn't flow until you pull the plug away...
Talking about both...lol The gasket was for the fill plug.
They just sent me new drain plugs and said to use tape; that paste wouldn't work since the portal threads has oil on them...
Yep, when they sent me new drain plugs they mentioned teflon paste probably wouldn't work since the threads already had oil on them. Said teflon tape would be better.
Question for the cool kids since 74Weld is closed for the weekend. I need a new gasket for the fill plug. Any idea what size I need to look for? And should they be just tightened before the gasket bubbles out?
I found an easy way to see if the drain plugs are leaking.... Just drive fast. 🤣. UPS says replacement plugs will be delivered today. Hopefully with some Teflon I'm all fixed up. I would still go 74Weld 100 out of 100 times...
1st of all we live by the mantra: God, sweet tea, and SEC... But I digress. The yellow cheese is pretty much a no go for me, although you'll find it on regular tacos unless you order street tacos. I will also sub charro beans instead of refried. Texas is pretty diverse given its size. There's...
When in So Cal they have some good Mexican food as well. As far as Arizona, if you have a chance to swing into Sedona, I would highly recommend Mole Mexican Kitchen. It was great. They also have one in Palm Desert that we went to while attending King of the Hammer's.
Just about anytime we...
