I have them on my Sasquatch base and they are great. They help a lot climbing in and stay out of the way for mild offroading, but can be removed for serious stuff. I only have them on the front two doors - I had to climb into the back the other day and it was pretty awkward without the steps on...
Get the sasquatch - you won’t regret it. You may regret it if you don’t. Just my opinion. I’m happy with how mine drives on-road and I have started to off-road now that I have the sasquatch - pretty fun!
When the top is back in position #1? I had this last year and sprayed a bit of lubricant on a joint (can’t rember where) and it got rid of the squeak immediately. Started again this summer and have been meaning to spray it again, but haven’t gotten around to it yet.
I ordered one on Amazon that I’m pretty sure is the exact same one (there are some others on Amazon that look similar, but have some differences). I will likely install this weekend. I understand that when you install a winch, something has to be calibrated for the air bags (or something...
What I did to be able to depress tongue lock is remove the 4” drop insert and lock it on the ball first, then lift both trailer and drop hitch and slide that into the hitch. Still seems like the trailer is slightly high. I just ordered a 6” drop hitch and will try that to see if it gets the...
Interesting. I’ve had mine for about 9-months and they’re in perfect condition. DC metro area. Wash Bronco about every 10-days on average. Been off-roading 4-times.
I love my Rapid Red, but the thing I’ll say about the grays is that it’s far easier to add an accent color for letters, stripes, and other add-ons. Not so easy with red.
The fact that when recirculated air is selected it automatically switches to outside air in a very short amount of time. I want the Bronco to do what I tell it to do - Ford, stop telling me what to do, it’s my vehicle!
I don’t have the full length steps, but have the V2 steps on the front and they are solid and look great. I love them - great quality. Easy to install.
I ran a trail this past weekend and came home with a bunch of trail rash. Is there anything reasonably priced and effective that can be used to protect the paint? I have seen some magnetic panels for jeeps, but the bronco doors are aluminum.
