Typically, yes. Yours would be considered new take offs and you would be responsible for the difference. A friend of mine did that with 3 brand new F150s before he left the lot with them. I'm planning to swap the 33's to 35's, if I can.
I think I'm going to have to go with a Bad Lands with the optional 35" tires. I could get the 7spd and still get 35's and cool off road crap for cheaper than a squatched Big Bend. With the interior I wanted too.
After looking a little deeper I guess the 35's are with the squatch only. I will...
$33,385 for 2d big bend
$5000 squatch
$3500 2.7
$1500 mid
___________
$43,385 Hmm, getting a little spendy, especially since I haven't gone through the options list yet.
Crap.
I have the 3.6 but have had nothing but odd problems. Paint issues, AC barely works, radio is sketchy, transmission constantly shutters, bad shock, the whole truck lunges forward when I use remote start. GM corporate did confirm there is an issue but that they do not know how to repair it. All...
I want to shift gears very badly but having owned a 2.7, that is such a good engine. For me it will depend on what the sasquatch package costs and the other options I want. I dont want to push over 45k, at that point I would just get a 2-3 year old Raptor. But whatever I do I have to drop my...
I have to keep reminding myself that the Sasquatch does not come with the manual trans. Which btw, is complete BS. I need a 2.7 standard shift with Sasquatch in my life.
The 2.7 is great, I loved mine. But dang it! Seeing that guy row gears just makes me want the 2.3 only for the third pedal. I have to resist buying a 4cyl.!
Even if they come that way, typically there is an aftermarket solution. I too cant stand the looks of it. Before I bought my ZR2 I looked at a Silverado which had that "issue". There was a $100 aftermarket solution to keep the DRL on and also use the turn signal. So there is hope.
