There is something to be said for having more control over a machine. Add to that the feeling you get when your coordination is spot on with hand, foot, and ears working together and nailing the perfect shift at just the right time. It can be a visceral, harmonious act that further unites you...
Hoping for the return of the “3 on the tree” myself.
Not.
But it’ll be nice to have the manual as an option still, especially with a low gear, however we’ll have to row it.
Yeah. They probably should have included a footnote that the chart was not “drawn to scale”...we’ll see what Ford means by “rugged” and “off-road” here pretty soon. Raptor would be up there closer, but trucks were not included.
Edit- PICKUPS were not included.
What. A. Tease.
Well, I appreciate you keeping the pot stirred and the excitement up. Who needs drugs?
Edit- ...aside from some blood pressure medication, that is.
Out on the Olympic Peninsula here, and patiently (almost) awaiting a new leak each day.
See if the 2 door will work for my family, but am also kinda interested in the rumored Bronco pickup. Hope to get some info on that soon too. Guessing it’ll be June 9th when we’ll have a full reveal...

That I believe is the tractor beam to pull your trailer to the tow vehicle for hitching rather than backing up to the trailer- part of Ford’s new Max Trailer Tow Package.
We had two 1st gen Bronco’s when I was growing up. Have always wanted a ‘new’ 1st gen. The concept in 2004 got me excited that we might see one.
For me the size, capability, and utility should be perfect for me and my family. Can’t wait to see up close.
Think I have Bronco Fever, with only one...
BroncoR Baja race prototype’s number was 2069. So if that’s code for Yr/Mo/Day, then June 9, 2020. Right in middle of the Detroit Auto Show.
Mebbe?
Doubt it’ll debut at show the way reveals are going now. But maybe the FULL reveal then.
and maybe Baby Bronco earlier in New York...?
WARNING sticker says to “SECURE ALL LOOSE OBJECTS PRIOR TO DRIVING” - I believe we have a non-camouflaged, production ready view of the warning sticker on the side glass!
