Yeah but that mule appears to have a unique wheelbase and definitely a unique bed. It looks in between a 5.5’ and 6.5’ bed, which would put it on par with a JLU wheelbase. Why go to all that trouble just to test a drivetrain that doesn’t care about 6”?
Look at the spliced together bed rail...
They’re saying November for more info on the EV, so probably won’t hear anything on the Bronco until after that. Gonna be a long few more months.

The Wrangler width of 73.9” is at the fender flares not the body. I can’t find an official dimension, but I’d say the body is less than 65”.
That is several inches narrower than an EB. I’m a good sized guy and find my EB quite roomy.
Ford Authority is claiming the baby will be called the Bronco Adventurer.

Your “source” also “confirmed” that the Colorado mule was a Courier which it clearly is not. So forgive me if I don’t believe anything you say.
I looked closer at the Raptor mule and no longer believe it has a 5.5’ bed. There appears to be about 4-6” of additional material ahead of the crease in front of the rear tire. Also the bed cap appears to be spliced together at this point.
If it has a 6’ bed it would have a wheelbase of about...
While I agree that we’ll see a baby bronco, then a midsize bronco, how do we know that there won’t be a full size bronco?
Disregard what your “source?” and all the online publications say and think for yourself. The raptor mule with the 5.5’ bed makes zero sense except as a full size bronco...
I hope you are correct.
Let’s not forget though that Ford did sell the Ranger and Explorer Sport Trac simultaneously. And that was before they dropped all their cars and went all in on trucks.
Fake frame rails? Hahaha. You can see daylight between the frame and bed.
Isn’t the courier supposed to be based on the focus platform? If so, I guarantee it has IRS, not a solid rear axle.
I hate to further the speculation, but I’m not convinced there’s a solid axle out back. Seems like an awfully small pumpkin and if you closely at the left side from the rear it looks like a cv axle shaft not a solid axle tube.
Surely Ford wouldn’t build us a trailing arm/radius rod irs setup...
