Not as bad as you think. They also used the 2018 which was the standard 3.6. The current 3.6 is an e torque. It really helps pull before the engine revs up. The lower weight of the wrangler also helps a lot too as well as making sure it is geared properly.
Not more than anyone else. They say it will be out for the 2025 year. The biggest thing I hope is engine and transmission. It is pretty dated. But the upside to it is reliability and availability of parts. It will be some time before you can trust the Bronco is both reliable, first year...
Yeah it was the control arm mount but you really do want that to be horizontal with the rear axle. I do not find that as much of an issue. There are trade offs to everything. Articulation gives you a better planted feel important on exposed trails. Ground clearance is super important but so...
100%. It is awesome having a choice per what you need. Once the 4runner is updated it will have the almost perfect off road buffet lineup. Only thing missing is a small car type long travel desert runner. Something the new Beatle should have been. Subaru are more a forest service road. I...
Yeah for an IFS it is pretty good. Something I would just keep it that way out of the box. Unbolting the front sway bar on my old RZR makes a huge difference.
As he said I am a little concerned about a lot of people using that on trails like Black Bear pass. Locking one side sends twice the wheel speed to the outer wheel due to the differential. Taking the fact that its radius of travel is a lot shorter than the front wheels that rear wheel is...
I do not think Jeep felt they needed to. The only RTI scores ever posted has been by people testing like I did. The uneven ground actual hurt it and that was why I did not post in in other areas. The front right was lower than the ramp. I agree they both have there merits. I am interested...
Having tested the 2dr wrangler and knowing the score of the bronco this is completely untrue. The 2dr wranglers articulation is a lot better than the 700. I got 820. The Bronco tested on a 20 degree ramp. This is 30 degree.
You could but would get fender damage. Ford had to reduce travel to save the fenders but the second issue you would run into is gearing. The Sas package put lower gearing in the axles.
