Its alive! Got everything running and now its time to shake it down. My engine tuner is in Alabama and remote tuned the car thru my laptop. Technology is crazy. Still need to get some shock tuning in and a ton of tech on the car but should be at the start line.
Thats a good question! My bronco was the test mule for this system and the first with the setup. I actually just got my oil changed this last weekend and the shop didn't say anything about it so it must have been not a huge deal. Mine is a 2.7 though.
I bought a cheap spare delete kit from ebay for now and made a quick little mount to mount two rotopax on it. I haveva local buddy fabbing me a rack for the cooler and will have it be detachable. It will be aluminum. He already makes one for the JL jeep.
I ditched mine and will be building a cooler rack. Space is limited in a two door and the cooler takes up a lot of space, especially with all the added camping gear as well.
So far they have been great. Zero issues with them and install was pretty straight forward. I have always had great luck with radflo. They are a smaller company than fox and king so you get a little better customer service out of them. As far as fit and finish they are equal to fox and king. I...
I do. I am also friends with Loren Healy and I know he does as well. I have radflo coilovers with camburg upper control arms, rcv axles and stock steering. I wheel rubicon and other rock trails in northern California. What are you worried about? 37s aren't what people that are selling upgrade...
Interesting. So these transfer cases have a clutch mechanism in them? What does the clutch part do? Does it engage the front output shaft or something? The clutch part I suppose would be the only part that could potentially be damaged. 4h wouldn't matter one bit with just a normal tcase. I have...
I went to 37s with aftermarket coilovers. Rubicon and Fordyce are my local trails. While I could have kept the 35s and been able to get into where I wanted. 37s make it easier
I honestly am not sure. I am friends with the owner of Metalcloak and he hit me up to use my Bronco as a favor. I can ask. They are very beefy, and keep everything smooth under there. Armor for rock contact should not be where you go light on the steel thickness.
Got Metalcloak full belly skidplates installed today. These things are beefy. Very impressed with fitment and finish. Recessed bolt heads are very nice touch. Can't wait to try them out. They should be available to purchase now or soon. I loaned out my bronco for test fitment of the prototype...
BAMF. I would have liked to support someone local. I bought their tailgate reinforcement and asked for no powder coat. It was coated anyways. Didn't open the box for a while after receiving it. When I finally decided to open it and install it on a Sunday afternoon, I found there were zero...
I still do nothing with no problems. Seeing all these crazy setups make me think the fridges you guys are using are power hogs maybe. Arb zero for the win. Lol
