OP reply was that it was a seal on the soft top and not the window. I’ve been replying with help to a known issues regarding wind noise above the rear passenger with a soft top.
Someone with a hardtop replied it was their window
Lots of people replied saying their hardtop makes the same noise...
Yep, if you can find a DirtyDog Headliner Dog headliner it is worth its weight in gold. It’s magnetic closure closes up those gaps nice and drastically reduces the wind noise.
1. AutoStartStop was originally intended for the euro emissions requirement. Ford introduced it globally to receive government funding for “being green”. Ford Marketing used it as an opportunity to spin MPG savings/reduced emmissions/better for environment.
2. Ford Dealers and all other vehicle...
Any tire for your offroad vehicle that’s quieter than the factory GY’s are going to take away from your offroad vehicles performance that’s equipped with front and rear locking differentials when off-roading.
I agree with the Wildtrak being too stiff, address the front sway bar, it’s way too...
I have the 37” Baja Boss AT’s, they are a D Load, ride just as smooth and quiet as the factory good years still after 10k miles, cruise 80mph every day, and post Ford Performance tune I’m getting the same MPG as when my Wildtrak was completely stock.
As far as their puncture resistance or...
I installed mine myself in August.
I can confirm the “feature” is not listed in the ProCal menu(s) but as shown in the video I posted, mine “remembers” the last setting after installing the tune.
If everyone else is saying theirs doesn’t remember, I will consider myself an exception but find...
It should “remember” now after key cycles. So when you turn it off, it’s stays off now. Turn it back on, stays on. Make sure you have the latest update installed.
Mine does.
Definitely crash bars and clearancing, You’ll also need wheel spacers or aftermarket wheels.
I have the Ford metal flares, 2.25” lift, wheel spacers and the BOSS end links. I don’t flex as much as those with the sway bar being disconnected but I am clearing everything in the front for the trails...
Just fenders is not the issue with the 37’s.
If you are going to hit trails that require your tires to be turned while the slightest bit of suspension articulation occurs, You’ll find some other hard parts need to be addressed/removed. Especially when your sway bar is disconnected.
Lots of...
I have slight tire rub on the rear fender liners at full stuff, front end seemed to clear after all the trimming and additional mods above
Reminder I’m on HOSS 3.0 and Zone 2.25.
I can’t speak to the Zone 2.5 kit
If you can only get 91 octane, this is the best in my opinion. Transmission tuning, auto start/stop stays off, recalibrates spot on for 37’s, happy with the performance gains.
If Arizona got 93 octane I would have had to look at others because of the massive gains ecoboost motors make with 93+...
Dirty Dog Headliner, this should be a factory offered item.
Looks Like Dirty Dog might be going out of business so it could be worth designing one for us!!
1,000 miles after installing my tune, I’m at 14.7mpg with Arizona 91 octane.
1mpg less vs when it was new and completely stock in 91. I’m a fan.
- 23’ Wildtrak 4dr Softop/air filter/lift and full skids/37” Baja Boss AT’s.
