  1. What Should I do in the Snow? (OBX non-sas, non-advanced)

Back to my original question, regardless of type of tires. Just like my all wheel drive car. Do all the trim levels have 4"A"? That mode would take all the guess work out of it. Select it and forget it. Jim.

  3. White MIC hardtop wrap -- DIY'd with 3M vinyl

Squatch, my oldest son owns a body shop that has many years with PPG. When I ordered my Bronco I wanted a white top living in the south west. I owned a 1972 Blazer with a white top and was always impressed with how much cooler inside it was on a 115* day than most vehicles. I was told when I...
  4. Tire tread wear

Many factors involved in a good frontend alignment, not just the obvious 3. A good alignment takes time and knowledge and most are in it for the money. Do your homework. Another + for portals. Jim.

  8. I added the Lobo Off Road Crash Bar Erase and Brace Kit

This Lobo brace would be really good insurance for flat towing or a bumper mounted winch. You DO NOT want to bend these frame horns, complete frame replacement required. Frames will not bend back just break. Jim.

  13. Intake Comparison

Josh, great questions and I have the same. Actual comparison's would be great and this is why I haven't spent my money on one. I always figure the manufactures have way more research and engineering and money to develop the proper parts. With EPA constraints etc. etc. These company's seem to be...
  14. Ford Performance bead lock ring - Real World review?

These are a well designed beadlock that could have been dot approved with the ring torquing against the wheel instead of just the tire, the reason for the 45ft lbs torque on the bolts instead of 20-25 ft lbs. Ford probably didn't want the liability with inexperienced diy'ers. Check torque often...

I have used many plugs through the years with good results, but I did have one on a trailer tire that resulted in the belts separating ruining the tire. I was surprised but it was obvious, it did take some time to show up. I think I use plugs because they are convenient. Jim.
  18. Warn Hidden Winch - Rough Country Mount

Ryan, yes it's complex. I originally thought before I bought the winch if it had a 45* throw to disengage I could just use a pto cable by itself. In fact I bought the cable before the winch got here. When unboxed I found it needed 180* to disengage! Back to the drawing board. This has worked out...
