  1. Sasquatch - Will you upgrade the brakes?

Oh, I did. But I asked what YOU were going to do. Edit - And, yes. Think about it for a minute. The engineers and bean counters took those brakes, said, "Okay, we'll put them on 960,000 vehicles per year. We'll make them good enough that 95% of people won't complain and preferably no one dies."...
  2. Sasquatch - Will you upgrade the brakes?

Stainless steel brakelines are a favorite mod to my bikes. ... I mod the hell out of my bikes, tho.
  3. Sasquatch - Will you upgrade the brakes?

So... No, for you. I was a lot happier with an aftermarket set of pads towing just 800lbs of motorcycle and trailer in my current vehicle; "good enough" wasn't good enough for me.
  4. Bronco Engines and Oil changes

Currently, I have a slow leak in my POS, so I just add oil every month or two. Can't really figure out where it's coming from, tired of looking. Automatic oil changes! It just needs to last one more year...
  5. Sasquatch - Will you upgrade the brakes?

Something tells me with 35's, the 270lbs of rubber and 92lbs of aluminum (estimated) might be a bit tough to bring from 60 to 0 mpg on a 4500+ lb vehicle. The stock 32's weigh at least 90lbs less, tire and rim. Think you'll swap to new brakes or pads? Edit - So far, the answer seems to be "no."...
  6. Theory: The Two Reveal Broncos Were Meant To Be Concept Vehicles

I, for one, am going to rock that Carbonized Grey top and grill, and turn down the saturation on the paint with Cactus Grey paint on a Black Diamond build. Then add a retro Carbonized Grey grey decal stripe to tie it together. The vinyl interior is going to be "space grey," by default. But if I...
  7. Outer Banks Bronco Thread

Honestly? Road noise with crying children is a benefit. It'll probably help them ssleep rather than hurt. I still remember driving my brother's kids around, and going up and down mountains that made their ears pop. I would intentionally mess with my ear pressure, which would help tune it out...
  8. Why are you choosing 2 or 4 door Bronco? Which will have better resale value?

I'm getting the 2-door, no question. It's a terribly impractical vehicle and I'm going to regret it... And then keep going. The looks, the style... I could take it camping, but I'll probably get a lift from a friend anyway. I'm a terribly impractical person. In truth, I have never wanted a car...
  9. Bronco Decals

https://www.broncitisparts.com/product/bronco-special-decor-package-stripe-kit I would like the stripe from this website with the forward spacing across the hood, but centered on the door handle in a medium battleship gray similar to the carbonized gray grill and molded-in-color gray top...
  10. Black Diamond 33s on stock steel wheels

Allowable rim width, per manufacturer, is 7.5" to 9" on the 285/70R17 BFG KO2 that comes stock on Badlands. It just squeezes in on the stock Black Diamond rims.
  11. Black Diamond 33s on stock steel wheels

Stock rims are way narrower than that. Anything on 32's rolls on 7.5" wide rims. 33's are 8.0" rim width. The Sasquatch rims are 8.5" width...
  12. Our Q&A (and Photos) From the First 2021 Bronco Ride Along Event

https://media.ford.com/content/dam/fordmedia/North%20America/US/product/2021/bronco/pdf/2021-Bronco-2dr-4dr-Prelim-Tech-Specs.pdf Manual Badlands says 4.7:1. So you can have a manual Squatch. Just add 35's and ditch trail control.
  13. what does everyone drive while waiting for their Broncos?

I drive a 2007 Scion Tc when necessary, because honestly I hate nearly anything on four wheels. And I never saw a car I wanted that wasn't an overpriced restomod. But I wasn't interested in maintaining a museum piece. I bought it because I needed something, anything, for long distance travel...
  14. Black Diamond vs Base and Sasquatch?

I hear a lot of rumors about a factory 2" lift at this point. Even if it's not real, should be cheap and easy to get.
  15. Ford Update: Bronco Build & Price coming in **SEPTEMBER** with ordering in December

This is the modern day. We put up software, and it's fucked, and people accept it. Ford needs to put this tool up in alpha with the words NOT FINAL on it to maintain interest. Ford is not CD Projekt. Build and price tool is not Cyberpunk 2077.
  16. What colors do you wish to see for the Bronco in the future?

Color's sort of important to me; I'm a fan of cactus grey on the Bronco. I wouldn't mind battleship gray or 70's guitar seafoam green (not surf green). I could take a pastel yellow, though. Something really retro.
