I grew up in the 70s and 80s when many cars only had 2 doors. All we did was release the seat lock so it tilted forward. Not sure if 2 doors these days even have that feature anymore. Btw, my parents had a Maverick and Mustang II for 2 door cars. Their 4 door was a ford country squire wagon...

Well done breakdown. I also expect that vehicles that are getting sasquatch packags installed will have to be pulled out of the main assembly line and have it added before final prep stage so that will probably add more time to delivery as well.

I have been going back and forth between cactus grey and arean 51. I think cactus grey looks a little mint green for me. I'm probably going with area 51 with white package.

I know the picture posted above shows a flat step but that may not be a production unit. The actual brochure for the outer banks says that it will have a powder coated tube step.

The Outer Banks is supposed to have a tube step...not sure about the other models.

There was leak a few months ago regarding a patent by ford for something similar to this. These would be for hardcore off roading. Leave the good doors at home and drop on the tube doors for banging through woods. They remind me of roller coaster safety bars...love it!

I have a Ford dealer that was closer than the one I chose but I went with another one based on their reputation. I guess that's why they are on the ADM list and they called me right back. Is there any way to change your dealer pick after the fact?

I placed my reservation on July 18th for an Outer Banks and the dealer called me 5 minutes later to introduce themselves....nice! She let me know that they will be in contact as more information comes out. They are also on the ADM and X Plan dealer list. :)

I wanted the OBX with the Hgh package since that is the upgrade to the larger screen. I'll probably pass on the LUX package though. Sure heated steering wheels are nice here in the northeast but I jave only been spoiled by them for a year now so I haven't assimilated completely. So its still...

I think you're a little small on that guesstimate. Probably closer to 10 sq centimeters than 5 .

I'm planning on going with the Outer Banks mainly for the Mid package is included. I originally also went with it because of the 18 inch rims and was going to pass on the Squatch package but the more images I see, I think I am going to want the squatch. I think I will wait and see what the 18"...
