    update: talked with Ford chat 3 times to confirm but everyone is saying I am no longer on chip hold but then again who knows. @brutus seems like we are in the same exact boat.

    Yeah my sales manager said 2/18 delivery here in louisiana but she said it could realistically just be the end of February. I’ll be out of country from the 19-26 so hopefully everything goes to plan. Would not want it to come during the trip.

    Well since it won’t be leaving until Feb 8 then the reason is most likely chip hold. They will release the car after the chip is installed.

    Just talked with the sales manager at my dealer and I’m still on chip hold according to her so I guess time will tell

    I think chip holds are still in the “in production” status, from what I’ve read around the forum it will switch to built once it’s actually built and awaiting shipment

    After some digging I saw some chip holds in previous build weeks for outer banks all of them are around 13 days. so add 13 days to your build day (day after blend) and that should be when it shows “built” and hopefully ready to ship.

    Well you cant register it, it just shows up, to activate the vehicle you would need to have access to the vehicle to connect
