If you make you feel any better I probably reserved before you. I was clicking submit as soon as the reservation banks opened. I never called ford to get an exact time stamp, but it was within minutes.
I'm still waiting for shipping, but I sold my car to Carvana yesterday. Crazy easy. They don't even attempt to inspect the vehicle. They just take some photos. Mine was filthy inside and out. I don't know how Carvana makes money, they will have to spend at least $1500 to flip my car...
Mine was plucked from the mountain and built on 2/22 and I'm still waiting for it to be shipped. The 1-800 number told me there is a convoy delay. If you're on rail you might have better luck?
My blend date was 1/18/22, my "built" date was 2/22/22. Since tomorrow will be 1 month of waiting for shipping I broke down and called the 1-800 number.
The operator told me that her system showed an estimated delivery date of today (3/21/22) but there was a delay on the convoy so obviously...
At best it gets 2mpg better. The more you make the engine work (off-road, bigger tires, under load, towing, speeding) the more it will swing in the other direction. I think with the sasquatch package its actually a wash on paper.
The 2.7 beats the 2.3 at almost everything, even MPG.
The only advantages of the 2.3 are:
Cheaper upfront cost (but as % of purchase price it is nominal)
It weighs less (which is somewhat helpful for off-roading)
And the biggest advantage is that in this case its the only way you can get a...
I'm looking to overlanding with the 2D also.
I would recommend just getting a small trailer for your bike. You're not going to be doing any thing with a bike hanging off the back that you can't do with a trailer. In either case you're going to drop them at base camp to go hit any challenging...
My coworker just sold his second hand jeep to Carvana for 6k more than he paid for it 2 years ago. He has to pay cap gains, for selling a used car. It's crazy.
I hope so, my switched to "built" on 2/22/22 and since then there have been zero updates. My dealer can't even confirm if it's fully built or still waiting on chips.
My dealer said straight up that places like Carvana will give me a much better price for my trade-in.
So I've looked into going that route. Something's got to give, but as of right now the price Carvana is offering on my trade is 100 percent worth it. I don't even have to wash it, they just...
I asked my dealer today if he had any updates on my bronco because the tracker now say "built" on my end.
He said, on his end it says "'released', however that could mean it's still waiting on the chips and is an holding pattern."
My tracker says:
1/18/22 In Production
2/22/22 Built
I don't know what blend date means... I think I'm on the tracker under an old user name.
I was a 1/17 build week, and my reservation was within the first 15 minutes. I opted to wait for 2022 pretty early on hoping they would have better colors available (they didn't).
