So those that are running the 3.0 rack How is the steering feel with the new rack? I had seen a comment how easy it steers while going slow but at higher speeds steers harder than the original rack.

I have a back up I was just shocked to see it change. I also keep note of everything I change.

I Yes same original speculation seemed to believe rock crawl mode had a lighter steering feel but I can’t seem to find any solid documentation confirming it.

Did your spacers or offest wheel negatively affect steering feel at all. More effort to turn?

Yes good thought I to had a thought about castor. Nothing I did would have effected it but I checked it anyway. It was at the low end of the spec at about 3 degrees. I’m not sure what I would check for on the rack. Seems to steer fine when not moving. Any suggestions.

That’s how mine feels I’m not particularly crazy about it. I wouldn’t imagine the badlands sas steering program or components to be any different than the other models but maybe. Sure feels different than my last two. Maybe I’ll just get used to it. Thanks for you feed back

Nope seems normal. I’m sure this steering is dynamic and reduces the amount of assist as your drive faster. Seems mine reduces way to quick if that makes sense

I think the bronco handles great it’s just harder to steer than I can recall in my other ones. I have a feeling it would be a fight to explain or get a dealer to do anything

Returns to center just fine. Almost seems notchy to get of center honestly. Kinda like ur driving with the lane assist on and trying to over come it. That’s all turned off
