I do not understand your perspective, but if it works for you, it works for you and others who feel the same.
In my experience, people in jobs like the Bronco guides are typically tipped if they do an excellent job.
YES! If you are going to Moab, you can stay in town and cut down on lodging costs if you book far enough in advance. Moab is really busy in Spring and Fall and not a lot of deals to be had. Lots of other fun things to do (again, in Moab) like national parks, trail tours, and someone said...
So here's what I'll tell you about the OffRoadeo in Moab. It's an amazing time. The people are fantastic and you get to drive a Bronco all day on a real trail with real terrain, and experience the vehicle in actual settings. You get some swag, a lite lunch, tasty dinner, and a full day of...
Basically, until you have a contract to purchase that is valid and enforceable in your state, or other agreement that might be enforceable in your state, you don‘t have any legal leverage.
My #1 best piece of advice is to get a contract if at all possible, and deal with a reputable dealer.
I know. Weather is really sucking. It's supposed to be a little warm in Moab in October. Thankfully, the end of the week looks better than tomorrow (Tuesday)
I could add to the list, but it's not simply about buying from a dealer down the road vs. across the country.
I can't opine on Ford's allocation methodology relative to other manufacturers and new product releases. I expect it was based on some of the same factors as the updated methodology...
Get it switched to Thursday the 14th and I'll gladly give you a ride. :)
Sorry, I'm there a day earlier.
And what the heck is it with the weather? It's warmer in the Midwest next week!
When the allocation formula is partially based on prior volume, it does serve to level the playing field.
What I'm saying is that if allocation is based heavily on the amount of reservations you have in your "bank", then a dealer can go out and solicit orders like Granger did, and take away the...
Probably not a popular opinion, but it is no more right for Granger to get all of the vehicles, than it is the big dealers. They must have had an idea what their allocation would be before this all started. To go out there and price cars below MSRP to get orders in the system Is fine, but it...
I guess since I don't need a Bronco in my driveway, my attitude is when it gets here, it gets here.
The Off Roadeo event is a hell of a deal, Where else can you get a days worth of seat time, two meals, some swag, etc. for $200ish? I'm paying more than twice that to just rent a SXS in St...
Please, no ADM in this thread. I don't like it either, but there are plenty of other threads to express frustration over dealer antics.
I had a call yesterday with the sales manager at the dealership, who said he is tracking 40+ Bronco orders. It's a small town dealership without a huge...
The previous experience with the deposit for the event was that you did not get your event fee back until you took delivery of your new vehicle. I haven’t heard that changed, but who knows?
Thanks for that. Up until now, people have had to wait for a credit against their credit card. Hopefully...
My advice is talk to a lawyer.
your agreement is with the dealer, not Ford.
You need to take all your paperwork to someone who can opine on contract law in your state and see what grounds , if any, you have to pursue it
