  1. What would suprise you the most if it showed up on the B&P as an option?

Portal axles. Variable-damping magnetic suspension. Central inflation. All-wheel steering. Those would surprise me.
  2. What's in your toy box?

    DANG!!! Those are some great toys y'all have! I have a few motorcycles: CBR1100XX KTM990ADV KTM530EXCR XR400 GasGas FSE 450 (1 a Dual Sport, the other a SM) NX250 (wife's) '71 Bronco '02 Excursion 7.3l Pics someday...
  3. What problems do you have with your late model ford that you hope do not infect the new Bronco?

Right - the function is still available, albeit manually. I'm happy with all the tech if it is totally reliable, or has a backup! If I still lived in Knoxville, I'd happily fix those hubs. 2002 7.3l Excursion with 260k on it here. Waiting for a front bearing to go before I do the blown hub...
  4. Suggestions for Strobe Placement

You DO know that drunks tend to head FOR the flashy lights... And if someone is following me more closely in dust/dirt because I have strobes on, I'm shutting them off.
  5. What problems do you have with your late model ford that you hope do not infect the new Bronco?

2015 Explorer, the little switch inside the shifter that tells the ECU that we're in park or neutral. Can't start the vehicle if that switch is open. Ford's initial estimate for a fix was $300 installation of the entire $600 shifter assembly, which I though was irrational, punitive, and...
  6. Bronco Sasquatch Rear Rendered in Production And Other Colors

SHBC Grey (Should Have Been Cactus) is drop-dead gorgeous. I wouldn't have any dithering between colors if this was available. That is, as long as medium calypso green wasn't available, or a deep, rich metallic dark green.
  7. What problems do you have with your late model ford that you hope do not infect the new Bronco?

Either o-rings or a vacuum line. Neither are difficult nor expensive to fix. O-rings are more involved than finding a leaky vacuum line - requires disassembling the hubs - but most handy folks could manage it in an afternoon. It isn't a mileage issue, it's a matter of 19 year-old rubber parts...
  8. Just as a bit of advice to everyone on here, don't bankrupt yourself trying to get a Bronco

No way am I going to take money out of a 12-16% annual earning stream to pay for a car that I can buy at +/- 2%.
  9. Cargo/Interior room argument. I saw the Light.

We all carry waaaay too much crap around with us. Literally and figuratively.
  10. Would you trade in your current vehicle for a Bronco?

This. I bet they'd offer me $5k for my 7.3 Excursion, when I can sell it privately for upwards of $20k.
  11. Ford explains why no manual with 2.7L Bronco

So funny that those who were predicting that the 7m would only be available in a high-trim crawling-oriented model are now complaining that the 7m isn't available with the more expensive engine. Financial factors for a manufacturer to consider are not only the mechanical engineering costs, but...
  12. Ford, if you're really listening make the marine package available in every trim

Nope. Carpet is an addition. It's more expensive to add to the vehicle than not. Glue, padding, glue, carpet, installation. The engineering and labor to design, spec, cut it, and install it. Deleting it should be a bonus to the manufacturer. The option of a functional bedliner finish is...
  13. Ford, if you're really listening make the marine package available in every trim

More options, more flexibility = better for the consumer and better for sales. Let them pick what they want, and they will buy. Limit their selections for arbitrary or coersive marketing reasons, they will go elsewhere.
  14. Ford, if you're really listening make the marine package available in every trim

I can see the point if it's simply an aesthetic, but for something functional I can't agree. I've never understood why some manufacturers won't allow a different color interior; it's not like it doesn't fit or is otherwise incompatible, nor even a substantial production wrinkle. I live in AZ...
  15. For those of you with a classic Bronco

Errands and such, or a long trip to a moderate trail, the new one. Fun cruise or more difficult off-road, the 351W.
  16. 2021+ Bronco ForScan Thread

My dual-boot MacBook and serial port converter is ready and waiting for exploration of the playground...
  17. That horrendous "sport" bar and b pillar on the 2 door.

I'll wait to see it in person before I buy new blades for my grinder and sawzall. Chances are the aftermarket will jump right in and solve all the major complaints right off the bat. The aesthetics of the factory cage are likely more dictated by liability and legal standards, there may not...
  18. Misprint or fixing what was broken?

Maybe that's one of the ways they're keeping the price down on the 2D. I would probably want both the modular hard top and a soft top... I'll have to see the HT in person to make a choice. If it's flexible and easy enough I could maybe do without a soft top.
