Picture if you will, you're involved in a major collision with one or more fatalities. Your insurance company is facing multi million dollar payouts, an insurance investigator finds that your mirrors are not original and don't meet the federal motor vehicle safety standards that the...
On my US model 25 Badlands with Deluxe package the outboard lights on the front of the mirror body do not flash with the turn signals. Can they be activated to work as shown in the video? Or is there no point in hooking them up as shown in the video? Would I just be wasting 20.00 if I ordered...
Agreed, I've even quit using the 1.25 A Tenders on newer vehicles with all their electric demands. I buy 2-3 amp models when I need a new one now since I had a 1.25 die on my Sprinter van.
I assume that it would allow stop and go driving without using the brakes. I can't see myself doing that but people who commute daily in stop and go traffic might find it appealing.
How did you replace the battery under warranty? I assume it's a replacement battery, was it replaced without testing, or was it tested and found to be faulty? That sounds like a very good battery warranty, I'd like to know for future reference.
Thanks for the post about the automatic updates...
What would be the right, or wrong, way to install a trickle charger? I expect to simply connect a battery tender to the battery terminals, is there something I don't know?
I think it did for 26, I don't know about the Sasquatch but the Badlands no longer comes with swaybar disconnect, it's an option, which is a huge benefit for offroad use. I think the good news is that since it's an option it can be ordered for the lesser packages as well.
It looks good, and I can tell that the one I have will eventually need replacement. Does it add substantial height when installed? And does it feel cushy compared to the stock setup? The one I have adds an inch or better in height, which I like, but it's fairly soft foam so some of that is lost...
When I was shopping last year I could have bought a Sasquatch for about the same cost, or possibly less, than the Badlands I bought, probably just due to availability. My research suggested I wanted the standard Badlands so I stayed with that and have no regrets.
I assume that's on your phone app, right? I don't know how to find "my shortcuts" or even find a screen with the three bars to select from. What do I need to know?
My Bronco came with complementary PPF on the front few edges of the hood as well as the door edges and fingernail area behind the door handles. Should I take it off while it's fresh or wait a few years? Bronco is normally garaged.
