Somewhere between a month and 5 years.
the initial excitement has worn off for me. I want an overland vehicle but don’t want a Jeep. While the bronco is the cool new kid on the block, it’s essentially a wrangler. If you compare this to a wrangler in looks, incredibly similar compared to a...
I wonder if you can do roof top tent with a soft top. Wife and I want to take a trip out west and when we get there, I figure the top off would be fun to drive around trails in.
Was talking to Brewster dealer after recent update and he asked what models I was thinking of and I explained I'm on the fence with three trims. I have a price in mind, around 40k which means base with options, big bend with fewer options or bd with just the engine upgrade.
Can we expect ford...
So if I'm reading this correctly, deliveries/downpayments are pushed back to next fall? I am so glad. Sorry for those who were ready but doing some house reno here and could use some breathing room
Guessing I missed the boat on transferring over.
Edit: should have been more clear. Missed the boat on transferring and being among the first to get my bronco in the normal delivery window.
But ill take the snacks if you got'm
This is normal for any car company. The frustration shouldn't be why parts are only for certain trims, it should be why is there not more transparency on adding parts later and associated prices. Ford literally has first dibs on aftermarket part sales to bronco buyers but they haven't given us...
They really need a giant Q&A session. Its absolutely ridiculous that we're this close to ordering and have only a faint idea of what we're paying for. I want the BD for wash out interior but as my peak price point is 40k, i don't have much room for extras.
So if I go BD, I'm upgrading engine...
I've gone back and forth. I reserved the base. I told myself I can add on from there. But then I like wash out interior option so I looked at Black Diamond. I'm still in between. I would like it if Ford could show prices for all these accessories they hyped up. Like if I want to get a base and...
I thought of going for defender 110. Actually I was absolutely going for it and had no idea about bronco. What made me look elsewhere is the fact that the defender base starts at 50k but to get a base with larger engine is 62 minimum. $12k for a bigger engine vs bronco $1800. I mean....c'mon.
Because I want wash out floors. Sasquatching isn’t a big deal, I can use better aftermarket parts later down the road. A larger engine is where I’d put that money.
My wifes Tiguan.
We live just north of NYC and I work in the city so there was never a need for a car for myself. Technically that's still the case but as we want to get more into overlanding, a vehicle thats a bit more capable than the tiguan seems like a good idea.
We're talking about marine grade vinyl right? I assume this is the same material found on boats. It does get a little hot if left out in the sun but also seems like a pretty durable product. I'm in the same position as OP, I want the BD for wash out and vinyl seats for the washing but BB also...
all the interiors seem identical except seat options. i want black diamond but i also want signature lights. or just big bend with washout interior and marine vinyl seats. i honestly don't understand with all the delays Ford provides some of the shittiest options I've ever seen.
Really? One would think their job is to communicate and not turn into a mute raven B&P launches with issues or to provide clarity on a number of fuck ups from Ford this past month and a half.
