I think that they are referring to the heads up display (where you would find the speedometer, fuel guage, etc) as the High Level Instrument Panel. The LCD color instrument panel is the one that could also be 12 inches and shows the camera views, navigation maps, radio, etc.

My kids are off to college and have their own car. The back seat of my 4 door will be for my 100lb Winston, groceries, my girls for ladies night, and probably mostly empty driving to work 5 days a week.
