Oh shiat. I had hoped the DM gang would have been immune to the 2.7L engine failures seeing as we had already suffered enough.
Is she back now though or how did that process go?
Oh man, did it ever come close though! I had some serious burn-out from B6G after we wrapped up the tracker and the last Broncos were released in January.
I tried to help out with the Ice Mountain folks by making a similar tracker but after my heart just wasn't in it to go down another long...
Super happy to hear that Will! That's a nice looking rig you've got there, hope it was worth the wait!
Still the only one on the island or have some other lucky individuals received theirs yet?
Damn, I just had the entire console and most trim pieces off last weekend installing internal LEDs and running the rear dashcam wiring.
Great find, I'll have to check this out when I get some free time! Thanks for sharing!
I highly doubt v3.0 will ever (ofically) see the light of day. Ford has learned its lesson on publicizing the issues behind future Dirt Mountians.
Commodity shortages will be the catch-all explanation from now on IMO.
I tried so hard to be okay with my discoloured middle panel. So hard.
But now the general publics shock and awe are done with my Bronco the #1 comment I get these days is the mismatching colours.
Looks like the clam shell and front two panels are MIC v2.0 and the middle is v1.0.
Going to make...
Drilled out the back lock-pin holes to 1/2" and the lifting points fit in perfectly.
To be able to mount all roof sections, on such a low clearance and sloped roof. AWESOME!!!
Finally got around to installing today. For the life of me I cannot get the second bracket in far enough in order to insert the lock-pin.
Anyone have any tips?
FYI - I back walll mounted the electric hoist. I also have a vaulted ceiling. It was a fun install :D.
Everything is level and and...
Well shit. I just picked up the Lange hoist at the shipping depot across the border from me yesterday (🇨🇦 here).
That means v2.0 "Y" Bracket they send out I'll have to make the trip back to Michigan to pick up. Bummer.
Truthfully, I may just set up like you did here, Sharpie the correct hole...
