Great minds think alike. Although, I do not plan to do anything to piss of the wife and get kicked out of the house and need to sleep in my Bronco.
I was going to hinge the front sections to fold back, but the roll bar and speakers got in the way, unless you z fold, which started to make things...
Three pages in, and no one has said this? Too easy? Wife's first words....
Pavement Princess.
(BTW, she has repped MK for years, and would have loved this as a company car.)
So many options, some fun and creative, others felt like we are trying too hard. IMO, the name needs to just be organic, or just feel right. The wife wanted Emerelda, since the EG at times has some emerald undertones. But the bronco couldn't have a "feminine" name, so I kept thinking. One...
Can't agree more. Which is why either the drawer version on hinges is a great idea (the whole thing lifts up) or storage boxes that fit under, which can quickly be pulled out of the way to access the "basement " storage. I am not talented enough to try drawers, so boxes it is for me.
We have very similar thoughts on this, I just have not had the time to start working on mine. Nicely done. What carpet was used, and how is it secured to the plywood? TY!
I bought mine from Stickerfab. I think they are the same ones available from Mabbett. 2dr BB Sqatch w Ford running boards. Easy install, no mods needed. Work great.
Sorry MNLakeBum, but if you think this MN winter will be over when you return after a few weeks in FL, you haven't lived here long enough to know how how long winter can linger. This biatch is gonna be with us until May. You may wanna extend your vacation. 🤣
Rick, Minnesotan since '66.
Many have said this, and Ford will not change anything, but the sound system SUCKS! When you fade rearward, and only have the rear speakers powered, I swear, Grandma's AM radio broadcasting the farm report sounded better. WTH, Ford?

But for 50 bucks, I will keep an eye on them and give them a try when back in stock. The BB / OB grill is quite ugly, when viewed against other options, IMHO.
No shame on the Iconic Silver. Would have been option 2 if Ford would have pulled EG from my build. Looks amazing in the sun, easy to accent with black and chrome, and super easy to keep looking clean, as well as hiding scratches from the trail. Might be my age, but don't see the alure in all...
My first, and so far, ONLY piece of "swag" from Ford. Some have a garage full of freebies. I didn't even get the baby picture. But, thank the Lord, I DO have a Bronco. So sorry to hear about all the delays and constraints. To all still waiting, Hang in there....it's totally worth it.
First choice for my Bronco was AMB, but I waited too long to place the order. Then I saw EG. Love it! But dark blue has a special place, and your rendition of Atlas Blue is almost perfect. Vista Blue on my '08 GT was gorgeous when clean and the sun was shining. Hell no on grabber blue on a...
