I was wondering if anyone has any feedback from towing a 21ft bunkhouse camper. Dry wright 3,000 or so. There are several brands with the same layout—the Jayco SLx7 is just one I’m looking at renting. I’m remodeling a Casita and turning it into an off-road capable camper, but need something for...
But how willing are most dealers to flash your system? When I followed most of these threads early in the process, most were unwilling for anything but a Ford-sanctioned product.
I have run plastic rings and had good luck with them. And I agree with the previous poster…though not required, I have run with and without rings and rings on non-hub-centric wheels make a huge difference in ride quality at moderate speeds.
Mine’s already been replaced under warranty. Now, I can’t remember if it lost resistance or if one of the connections broke and it wouldn’t stay attached on one end. Either way, I rode around with no piston on there for a week or so. Trust me, having some resistance is better than the heavy...
According to the instructions linked here:

it connects to the rear speaker harnesses. So it’s not getting full signal without a flash or forscan.
Either you are joking or aren't a part of the exclusive and honored society that is RV owners lol. A "toad" is slang for a vehicle that is flat-towed (all four wheels on the ground) by an RV.
What's the "trailer brake fault" warning I keep getting while pulling? I used a 4x8 tilt trailer to pick up some remodel stuff and got that message every time I stopped. That was maybe 1000 lbs total with a 4-pin pigtail.
Note the picture below. The arrow points to the jack shaft that sticks up and is roughly a foot from the spare. When I turned sharply, it would push the spare into the jack shaft.
Not all trailers are designed this way. And I have 35 MT's on 0 offset wheels, so my spare sticks out farther than...
My latch cleared just fine. But the shaft of the jack was about a foot away from the spare. When I turned sharply it would have gone into my spare. Thankfully, we caught it before I turned.
I just wanted to share my first experiences pulling something substantial with my Bronco (2.7, 4.27 Big Bend 4-dr with 35's and a 2.5 in lift). I would imagine this cattle trailer weighs around 3000 lbs. I had no trailer brakes, but it did fine. I cruised at 60 with absolutely no problem. I've...
I was wondering if anyone knew offhand what size tires would clear easily on the Big Bend wheels? I currently have 35's and aftermarket wheels but im considering going back to stock wheels to draw the tires back into the fenderwells. I have the 4wp 2.5 in lift but I suspect the issue may be...
This.
The bolts will not back out if you tighten then "snug" them. Especially the top bolts of each door. I've never put a torque wrench to them...I just go a quarter turn or so past where I did the first time...when they backed out.
Also, I have had my doors on and off dozens of times. Why...
