I don't think I'd be a customer, but a 2dr LWB would be a great base for that Bronco pickup everyone wants - do it up like a JK8 kit.
The market would much rather have a minivan with or without a pickup bed as Jeep and Gladiator sales handily demonstrate.
I use the Milwaukee M18 inflator - I already had some big M18 batteries and a car charger. Added a LocknFlate air chuck to make it a little nicer to use.
There is a decent amount of onstreet parking in the U District. Most of it is paid or at least registered through terminals - often free in off-peak hours.
e: also, if you know how tall it is, many parking websites show the clearance along with the location. I can't do anything less than 7'...
Now try telling them you want a 5-tire rotation on a pickup with a fullsize spare under the bed. I would at least crane it down for them and have it loose in the bed, not trying to waste anyone's time.
New knob might help. I feel like the factory multipiece plastic knob flexes and adds some extra vagueness. I'm not sure if changing the oil made a big difference for me, but I am using Amsoil DCT for what it's worth.
Overall though, I don't think it will stop feeling like a pickup truck...
🤣 Almost sounds like a tire disposal scam. Rolling up to the dumpster that says "bagged household trash only" with 5 suspiciously large and tire-shaped trash bags...
Not for me, but I always like to see a new product in the space - looks a little awkward vs. a standard fairlead but not terribly so.
How much light does it put out? Can it light the trail or is it more of a courtesy/accent light for your hook?
I used to think that too but my Bronco has thoroughly departed from 10k/100% and I drive it a whole lot more than the OP. It gives me about 7200 from fresh now - wonder what I'm doing to drag it down.
I personally only go about 5k max between changes, but that's more my paranoia than anything.
IIRC the difference is achieved by an internal bumpstop on the Sasquatch shocks that prevents the 35" tire from stuffing into the fender. The Badlands omits this to let the 33" tire travel further.
Not a ton to be done for MPG - you can run your tires at high pressure and select Eco mode but that won't change the fact it's brick-shaped. The engines are already among the most efficient gassers in the Ford lineup.
Yep, just sold through Ford Accessories. Going straight through BesTop may give you a more favorable warranty position because the Accessories guys can be hard to work with.
Should fit without issue. Badlands already wears 285-section tires on +55 offsets. 75 sidewall and Outer Banks suspension might give you some rub when fully articulating but it shouldn't happen on the street.
This isn't an SAE lens, is it? I currently use the Drive and Fog types for a full street-legal-ish setup, and I wonder how this would compare to the Drive lens.
Stiff price as usual for Rigid, but I'm excited to see some stats and tests on these. It feels like Rigid has been falling behind - when I first got into the scene years ago they were just about top dog.
