As anyone knows for everything I can document there will be someone who will document something to disprove it. As previously stated I recommend you do your own research and come to your conclusion as I did.
I imagine by the next year or so these bugs will be worked out and addressed.
Actually I was speaking of the at least dozen overheat shutdowns on demo days in Lucern. It was a big buzz my desert racing buddies were talking about at our club meeting. While they were impressed with the Bronco, the short sandy course was having the demos stop on more than a few occasions...
I have my choices narrowed down to either 4Runner, Bronco, or Wrangler. In that Order. I have ridden/driven in both the 4Runners and Wranglers. Not the Bronco.
I do have to say after seeing the Bronco in person and all the innovative technology, It makes for a very exciting and capable rig...
If you are sure about keeping it as a street rig for just the look, simply remove your front and rear crash bars and mount a set of 37 X 12.50 tires on 17 x 8 rims with a 35mm offset. This will just give you enough room with minimal rubbing.
Keep in mind it's a tight fit but they will tuck in...
As others have stated, warm up/cool down and frequent oil changes. I'm a every 3,000 mile oil changer using a good synthetic. I would recommend at least that frequent for a turbo motor. These small engines need fresh oil for longevity.
I'm definitely waiting. My opinion on any vehicle is to not get caught up in the excitement. I don't finance and have the luxury of waiting until I can get it for at or under invoice. I currently have 1998 and 2000 Lexus's that run as good as new and a 2005 GMC Sierra that I did some much needed...
I believe Kami the OP pointed out his was overheating. A coolant leak contributes to overheating. I have every reason to believe this was an overheat issue. All these modern vehicles run very hot as it is to meet EPA/AQMD standards.
We can only hope the engine was shut down in time so as to...
This is my second post here. I feel bad for the gentlemen who has such an issue with a new vehicle. I have my choices narrowed down to a Jeep Wrangler, 4Runner, and the new Bronco. In the U.S. these are the only body on frame 4WD choices (besides a truck) that are street legal offering true off...
I am a long time follower of this forum and now a new member. I have a 2005 2wd GMC Sierra 4.3 liter V6, NV3500 trans, 3:73 gears/TruTrac diff. I'm deciding between a Bronco, 4Runner, or Jeep Wrangler. I'm holding off a year or two and see how things pan out with these crazy prices.
