If I was converting today, I would be BaseSquatch, 2.7, Auto, hardtop, aux switches, modular bumper and bash plates, AMB. Seems like. A screaming deal for $46k.
Base and BaseSquatch IMO are by far the best deals in the line up, assuming you can live without the luxuries.
I am still considering the Black Diamond and Badlands, but currently have a reservation for a 4-door BaseSquatch.
The 4 things I would really miss are keyless entry, heated seats...
I just made a reservation and I am hoping for late 22. I got to see the Black Diamond at a dealer and I am pretty excited about it, but really want to drive one first. Hopefully I will get the chance sometime next year.
@alanwburch - like you, I had a yellow 1970 (in my picture) and a green 1976.
The 1976 was a bucket that I picked up when I graduated from college. It was completely rusted out everywhere and needed just about everything. I started working on it and someone at the auto parts store offered me...
i don’t think it is the overall mileage. It’s the fact that you are getting those numbers out of a 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder motor. If you are going to be in the mid-teens, just jam a V8 in there and be done with it.
I have built all different kinds of trim levels and I keep coming back to an AMB BaseSquatch. Seems like the best deal around.
I am guessing I am going to end up with this exact same build, but with a hardtop. I went to one of the dealer expos and the rep there said it would be difficult to...
I am assuming this is posted on here somewhere, but couldn't find it. On the build and price tool, adding the Sasquatch package to 4-door on the bottom three trim levels is not making any sense to me.
Base = $5,790
BB = $7,385
BD = $6, 885
Why is it more expensive to SAS a BD than a Base...
Part of my problem is I can't make a decision on what I actually want. I know I need a 4 door. I have messed around with the build and price tool every week since it launched. Quick summary of the decisions I am trying to make:
1) Originally, my first choice was a Black Diamond Sasquatch...
I am trying to time it because my current vehicle will not meet the requirements for my company car allowance come January 2023. If I get delayed, I can swap cars with my wife for a few months or however long it takes, so not a huge deal, but trying to get in the ballpark.
Will probably look...
Okay...this is probably a long shot, as there seems not to be a ton of accurate information on timing yet. I am trying to time it, so that I am picking up a Bronco in December 2022. Anyone have any advice on when / if I need to reserve. Will the hype settle down in time for me to order in real...
