I doubt the new allocation program will be changed much.
I propose an a addendum:
A dealership with over 98% name match gets a 50% boost the the final allocation calculation.
this would reward straight dealing dealerships. It shows Ford cares about its brand.
It would be cool if we could purchase the parts in increments to make a full enclosure. This would softer on the pocket and based on discovered need. I would like to be able to get two side panels, then a lid, then maybe a plate that goes behind the seats.
Also, I still want someone to do this...
Used to put two bikes inside my Element with the seat up. Heck, I could put one mtn bike in at an angle with both wheels installed.
I would be nice to put one bike in without the front wheel, but I am not holding my breath.
Would it be possible to to control the amber backlights for the whole kit + an aux reverse kit with the same switch?
That way you have
-fogs
-off-road
-reverse
-amber backlight for all
It take a few months are the vehicle is release. Hopefully they will be out by the end of the year. While this may not be a deciding factor for some, it will be considered as we make our decision.
Crap, now these may be on my build list. Would be great for camping. Yellow is less obtrusive in camp grounds. Red may freak out my (small) kids lizard brain.
Damn.
thanks for the analysis. Really hoping they can tweak up the tow weights for next year, get the number closer to a 4R. I know people tow these with wranglers. Their main complaint seems to be engine power. Prefer Bronco over pickup, but this may add more weight on the con column.
They used to be around 23k. They are now generally around 32-36k depending on options. Hoping to see prices go down next year if supply chains stabilize and demand for RV/trailers decrease.
we have a 4door badlands reserved.
I keep seeing pictures of Op4 pulled with 4door wranglers. A 4door rubicon has a tow rating of 3500#. Makes me think that packaging bulky items in the trailer and dense items in the Bronco may work. Maybe keep to 55mph highway under all conditions.
What are your thoughts on towing an Opus Air 4 (Op4)?
whatever trailer we get needs to fit in our garage. My wife likes the airy feel inside. I like that it’s rugged so we can do some off grid dispersed camping.
For some weird reason, I love the look of methods. They seem to favorites with performance focused people, or they have great marketing.
For those in the know, are they worth it? Do they hold the bead? Is there weight difference noticeable?
2 Kangals and 2 Irish wolfhounds to protect 10 terriers. No rats guaranteed. Might need a trailer for the anti ray protection. Tow rating May be an issue.
