Drove down to Charlotte North Carolina from Lexington Kentucky on Tuesday to pick up my new daily driver; a 2000 Lexus LS 400 Platinum Series in Millennium Silver. Always wanted a big body Lexus, so I found one for a decent price. My dogs can jump in the car so I've been calling it the dog limo...
This is my first Ford. I knew the moment they officially announced they were bringing the Bronco back that I was getting one. All of my previous cars were Japenese except for a Chrysler Crossfire I drove for several years. It was essentially a Mercedes SLK and built in Germany. Similar to how...
Congrats! I love it! Defiantly the best bang for the buck the way you configured. If CO was offered on Base in 21; I would have saved myself about 10K. You get everything that makes the Bronco wonderful from the factory. No regrets ordering my OBX, but this beauty was not configurable at the...
Beautiful yesterday! Removed the top and there were a ton of people out at Lexington Cars & Coffee. I went over the curb and parked with the Jeeps. A 4DR CB OBX SAS showed up and joined the line! First time seeing another Bronco at Lexington Cars & Coffee.
Bonus photos of Beautiful Gulf Ford...
I'm not the voice of reason for sure lol. Just remember you are custom ordering a vehicle, so check the boxes YOU want. It is shitty how Ford charges so much more for what is standard in most economy cars these days. Hell, it's even standard (or much cheaper) options on other Ford vehicles.
I...

The tools needed are provided. I've just been looking for an excuse for awhile now to buy a cordless ratchet wrench. This was the perfect justification. ;)
Following! I would love to do some trails with y'all! I live in Lexington, so just a short trip away.
@7722 Bronco I'm sending good vibes your way and hope they release your Bronco from the Mountain! Unfortunately, I know exactly what you are going through. Mine was built 7/2/21 and not...
Mine is approaching 4500 miles. It's nice to know they are similar here in KY. Probably the bi-polar, 4 seasons in a day weather we are blessed to have here! 😬
I have a 2021 2DR OBX SAS 2.7. Around Lexington, I have not seen another 2DR, let alone another one on the road when I've been out in Louisville and even Cincinnati. I have seen around 20 or so 4DR Broncos. I think 4 were Sasquatches.
1 - 4DR Black Diamond
1 - 4DR First Edition
1 - 4DR Wildtrak...
Mine is about the same when it's been sitting overnight. Check it shortly after driving to see if it's any different. I know it's not using or loosing any because it's the same level over a month or so. I think they were slightly under-filled at the factory. I blame bean counting/pinny pinching...
No, they just require more time and material to produce the desired paint job. You pay for the extra steps in the process with the up charge premium. Paint protection is a tiny film applied to sensitive areas on the front of the Bronco. Any reputable detail shop should be able to replicate the...
I had the same dilemma and ended up choosing the OBX SAS 2.7. I much preferred the ribbed roast cloth compared to the digital camouflage sandstone. The roast OBX has a metallic bronze dash with silver instead of the beige and black. I had the top off yesterday and didn’t realize just how much...
They were able to replicate mine and replaced the header seal.... It no longer leaks in the middle but still does in the same spot as yours. Some observations as it's currently raining in KY. Take it through a touch-free car wash, it don't leak. If I park on a level surface, it don't leak. If I...
Yes, all 4 screw eyes are connected to trusses above. I used a stud finder to approximately locate the center.
I think you posted a photo of your setup in another thread and is what got the ball rolling for this.
I jumped on this setup because all the weight is distributed to 4 points...
The rear cap is secured at the top of the Bronco with 2 bolts you have to remove before taking it off. I just hooked into the mounting bracket where the bolt goes. Look for a Bronco hardtop removal video on Youtube and you will see what I'm talking about.
We had some beautiful weather today.
I was determined to figure out something simple and affordable for removing the hardtop rear cap on my 2 door Bronco….
I also wanted to be able to do this solo.
I found inspiration/copied the concept from this video. For my 2 door, the ceiling...
