My bronco was loaded on the train on Saturday and as of this moment is still in Wayne Michigan. The eta to blue island, illinois moved from the 27th to the 28th. I really hope the train has moved more than a mile in the past 2 days.
Well Ladies and Gentlemen… I went off roading with a friend today and while I was out there I checked order track, I am now in transit! Ford tracker hasnt updated yet. Im so excited
Well, my amazing luck continues... pretty sure my transmission blew on my way back from work... I don't really know how long I can go without a car and this bronco doesn't seem like it's shipping anytime soon
I should have taken this time to learn how to become a train conductor and I probably still would have been able to drive my bronco down by train before Ford figured out a way to ship it
This was a new one I got from chat today " It may have been picked up a carrier, this information hasn't been updated since 625/22. I would check with your selling dealer for the most up to date details. "
So my bronco is set to ship by rail, and I think the fact that the train is being stopped in the middle of an intersection for 15 hours to get a new crew on may be part of the delays. Makes sense, these workers are probably stretched so thin and working crazy hours...
I just have a feeling that they are not going to manage to ship our broncos during this planned downtime and then in August when they start back up, those builds will be shipped before ours. I hope Ford makes me eat my words but im not very optimistic.
