$68,500 is just a BS number.
Add tax, transport, and fees and you're over $76,000 with no options. These are going to be 80 grand, easy. That's without markup.
For that much you can get two nice 2-door Broncos, and have 4-doors in your driveway that actually look good.
That was very funny. :ROFLMAO:
2-door is still the best choice, appearance wise. That's why they make baskets for the hitch and roof racks. (y) Use the money saved over buying the Bronco Wagon.
To be fair, I dislike most 4-door vehicles, not just the Bronco. Back in the day they just weren't cool, I never evolved from that mindset.
The PA winters are just to hard on the Samurai (salt), I want to try to preserve it as much as possible at this point.
A Toyota FJ convertible would put a big hurt on Bronco sales. As would a proper Jimny on the Base Bronco. I wouldn't even consider a Ford if it wasn't for the 2-door Bronco. Heck, I was pleased that the Bronco emblementation supplanted most of the Ford logos.
That's is one good thing about...
I'd rather have a well-done 2-door Heritage Edition with square fenders and proper dog dish hubcaps. Maybe a vintage color or two. Surely couldn't be as difficult to build as this contraption.
Now I wish Ford went with the warthog name, it really fits, kinda looks like a a 4-door Bronco. More than a bird of prey, anyway.
Here is the 2-door warthog.
