I’ve been tracking/vintage racing my 66 since I finished a full resto in 2004. The 66 is for sale if anyone is interested in getting into vintage road racing!
I installed mine today. Probably the easiest upgrade I've done so far! I spent at most 30 minutes doing both similar to @thenewjs. The side visibility is so much much better now! Well worth the cost.
The Ford dealer here in Ames has no problems with A/Z plans. The dealer I bought the Bronco at was in Forsyth, GA and they accepted the Z plan pricing, but I wouldn’t recommend them. Their after sales service was abysmal.
I run sport mode a lot. Mostly in 2wd, but every so ofter in 4A. No unusual shifts or anything. It will launch hard in 4A!
Close to 9,000 miles on the clock.
I have used this for the last 5 years. 4 on my old F350 and one in the Bronco. No mice since using it. Had to replace a large part of the F350 harness from those little ba$tards. Both vehicles are parked outside and I live out in the country.
I have the largest Rediplow and will be trying it out this winter. It fits the rear hitch without removing the spare. I’ve had it for years, but it was mounted on the front of my F350 dually. It worked great on the truck. I’m hopeful for the Bronco.
Properly? Who knows. I don’t know what the torque tool is set at. I know it fits, will loosen and tighten it back down. I use the socket with just a straight handle so I doubt I could over torque it.
