  1. Touch up paint kits and paint kits

+1 for Automotivetouchup. I will say, their shipping is slow, but their products are good. I mean 2-3 weeks slow.
  2. A Winch Would've Been Nice 🤣

If you have the modular bumper, one option is the detachable winch plate from Maximus-3. While I have it on, it blocks the adaptive cruise sensor and parking sensors. One day I'm going to figure out a better way to snake the wires through each time, that takes a few minutes of wrangling.
  3. Dealer vs indie shop for oil change?

I change my own oil in my Bronco and the wife's Q5. But I take the Traverse to the Valvoline drive through. The oil filter is in an absurd spot to get to and I'll happily pay the premium to have them deal with it. I've never had an issue with them, just need to politely refuse the attempts to...
  4. 700 miles - CEL twice

FWIW, I had wiring issues in my '24 Wildtrak (2.7l). In the first 800 miles, it was in the shop for the third time with issues starting. The third time I had a frank conversation with the service manager with the magic words "Keep it until it's fixed or I will be forced to start a lemon law...
  5. I knew there’d be some wind noise, but this much?

I had excessive wind noise coming from my rear passenger door. I'm not too proud to say that I had FBWS, Floppy Bronco Window Syndrome. Maybe this support video will help you.
  6. What’s great about owning a Bronco?

15" of snow on the ground, but I still need to move the kids around. My wife asks "You're taking the Bronco, right?" The same vehicle gets a huge smile from my teenage daughter when I show up to pick her up from school with the doors off. Nothing better.
  7. Snow recovery advice - pulling vehicles stuck in snow?

It depends on your equipment. Do you have a kinetic rope? Winch? soft shackles? Pulling a vehicle takes a substantial amount of force, so I would only do it with the properly rated equipment, not some random crap you find on Amazon sold by GoodGoodStuffHappy.
  8. Student Research Survey

Whutt has a great point. While there are a few close Ford Dealers to me, I need to drive considerable distances to get to dealers that either receive parts from Ford that I can pick up (like my roof rack) or that will do installations. For example, I need to go out of state to do the...
  9. Ford Performance Air/Oil Separator Kit for 2.7 Install

Following to see if you catch much oil. Try to remember to post after your next oil change.
  10. Help understanding beadlock logistics

The beauty ring bolts are not centered, at least this set on the factory Squatch set up. Numbers are obviously off. I can't speak to other rings.
  11. Help understanding beadlock logistics

First of all, that's exactly how those rims should look. Never apologize (except for drinking Starbucks, that stuff is trash). Second, I'm not sure what you're pointing out as the stock beauty rims seem to have a similar ratio in spacing, although a different number of bolts, but I'm certain...
  12. Help understanding beadlock logistics

I had a flat tire with stock sasquatch rims/tires with the bead lock "beauty rims". I was about 1/10th of a mile from a police station so there were three cops who stopped and asked if I was ok. The first one immediately asked if they were bead lock. I explained the beauty rims aspect and he...
  13. Tailgate Reinforcement Install

"Style A" and "Style B". Reminds my of my wife's hand bags from Guci and Parda. Good luck!
  14. Best Roof Color for Velocity Blue Body?

So I'm obviously biased here in my recommendation, but the black came out pretty nice on mine. After I took the rings off and painted them, I really like the black and blue look.
  15. 🚨 NEW $1,000 GIVEAWAY: Win a Set of EZ4X4 Alpha Aluminum Tube Doors + Your Choice of Panels! ($1,000+ Value!)

Doorless with the roof off is the natural state of my Bronco. But the wife won’t let me take the kids on highways without doors. Tube doors would be a good compromise.
  16. Do fog lights need weather protection in the modular bumper?

Shortly after installing my new Diode Dynamic lights, we got about5” of snow. I think I’m going to at least shrink wrap the wires. Has anyone had issue with the tires throwing up moisture into the rear of the lights? Mine were caked with ice, but working fine (multi functionality with three...
  17. No key detected

I found in an old remote that it only worked when I squeezed the whole thing together. It turns out the spring (that is also the contact) for the battery was not putting sufficient pressure to make contact. I did a little disassembly and bent the spring up. To test if it's a remote issue or a...
  18. That Bronco6G life: for the new people so you won't be alarmed.

Me, I would like this list. I'll trade you for a possible introduction to Leo, who does heavy metal cover songs of everything.
  19. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

I spent money on my Bronco. If I park next to it, is there such a thing as installation osmosis? A standard wildtrak is too tall for my garage and it’s in the 30’s outside.
  20. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Yes, I think you're right about tight tolerances being important so it doesn't rattle around. I've not needed it for a rescue (yet) but I have smashed it a bit on a steep incline. It's tough. Regarding the pin tightness, I spray the pins with WD40 before inserting them. Makes installation and...
