Probably not the best idea to buy a 2019, but if Miata's hold their value well it might not be the absolute worst idea. It sure would be a blast to drive
Back in September, I was in a similar situation. I wanted to get rid of my car loan so I could start saving for the Bronco. I went and bought an 03 Honda Element for like $4k pretty much just as a hold over until the Bronco is released. No car loan, cheap insurance, and only costs I've put in...
After months of going back and forth, I've finally settled on my build:
2 Door Area 51
Roast Cloth
Aux Switches
Lux Pacakge
2.7 V6
Sasquatch Package
$51,920
I still can't decide, I know it will be a 2-door Area 51. But can't decide between OBX, 2.7L, Lux Package or BL, 2.3L, Manual, Lux Package. I won't be doing much off-roading, but I think I will miss driving a manual too much if i go with the OBX. Reservation July 14th - 10:38 AM
I haven't heard anything from them since the day I made the reservation there on July 14th, back then they told me they weren't sure if they would be charging an ADM or not and wouldn't know until the pricing guide was released. I know other people got different responses since then though...
I'm also in the Maryland group and haven't yet switched to Stephens in hope that a dealer that's less that 6 hours away will offer a similar deal. I just filled out the survey for this group too
I would like to get in on this, I'm definitely going to go through with buying one. Currently, I have two reservations. One for a 2 Door Big Bend at Bob Davidson Ford and one for a 2 Door Badlands at Apple Ford. I will be cancelling one and end up getting the Badlands trim
Damn, they must have changed their mind, I spoke to them yesterday and the manager said they weren't sure if they were going to charge a markup or not and they wouldn't know until they got order guide from Ford
I reached out to Bob Davidson Ford in Parkville, Md and asked if they would have a dealer markup. All they said was that the manager wasn't sure and once they get the order guide from Ford they will have a better idea. Which doesn't sound too promising to me, I might have to switch dealers...
2-Door Big Bend with 7-speed manual is what I reserved. I'm looking forward to the cloth seats, especially after having a convertible with leather seats before, way too hot in the summer
