Shortly after merging on 70 West from the Baltimore Beltway there's a mileage sign: "Columbus, 420; St. Louis 845; Denver 1700; Cove Fort 2200."
I always say "next stop Cove Fort." I actually want to mean it one day.
Spend more time in the national parks. Yellowstone can easily be three days, there's a lot more than Old Faithful. The Mighty Five in Utah is an epic trip in itself.
I'd also have to stand on the corner in Winslow, Arizona, such a fine site to see...In other words, Take It Easy.
Thanks again, @NayNay .
For those who have never been to St Mary's, MD, it's a "gem" and in a beautiful part of the state. I'm strongly considering Leonardtown Ford as it's a two hour drive from home and buying from an in-state dealer makes more sense, even if it's a few bucks more than other...
Thanks, @NayNay , really appreciate having an offer from a Maryland dealer to consider. St Mary's County is a lot closer to home than the out of state dealers (who have been *very* helpful).
The first rental I drove with Auto Stop Start really freaked me out. I had no idea what was happening the first time it engaged. I'm not a car guy and thought "oh sh*t, what's going on?"
I'm five feet tall (or short) and have impaired night vision. I have to test drive at night to make sure I can see the front of the vehicle, the dashboard at night, and how I react to lights from on coming cars. Sometimes seeing the front isn't possible at all, cough cough, Hyundai Santa Fe and...
Thanks for all the hard work. If Bob Davidson Ford is going with MSRP, I'm open to joining a group purchase closer to the Baltimore area. Would love to buy in Maryland as tags are easier. @NayNay any updates? Thanks yinz!
Possibly if they can do better on price than MSRP. If not I'm open to one of the group dealers or another MD dealer with a better price. And swag. I want the swag as much as the Bronco.
Just love the look of the white top. Am planning on OJ White and getting the body painted yellow, presuming that the top matching the body color is an option for the Base model. If this isn't an option, Carbonized Grey is Plan B.
Even if it's the same pre-production models, it'd be cool to see them in person. Can't take time off of work, but if I lived closer or there is a viewing within a few hours drive, I'd definitely go.
For me, the Bronco is completely an emotional purchase. I could have bought a new SUV years ago. From the moment Ford announced a new Bronco, I decided to wait. No vehicle I had as a rental or test drove did anything for me. I want to feel passionate about the truck I drive. I think Ford hit a...
This is all really good information, thanks @rcbickle and @MrJoe .
Glad we have another two months to obsess about things before locking in the dealer.
Dumb questions since my last car purchase was in 2002: can one receive Maryland tags in advance of buying a new vehicle, or must the sale go through before obtaining tags? What is required besides year/make/model/VIN and, since Maryland loves to tax everything, the total sales price? Can one...
