The Yokohama G018 is an AT/4 that only weighs 59lbs even in the LT. According to my coworker they ride pretty nice on his Frontier. I have the non LT size on mine and the snow traction is excellent (May or may not be important to you) Edit: Just saw you're in SoCal. They're great on dry pavement...
Towing an 18' bowrider, dry weight 3,150lbs, it seems really doable. I don't have trailer brakes for it, and if I was towing it all the time, or super long distance, I would want them. The only real "sketchy" thing about it is how soft the rear suspension is under a heavier tongue weight. But it...
Mine had 2 bad fuel injectors from the direct injection system on delivery. Mine was only on cold starts though, and would clear up after 15 seconds or so. Took about a month to get replaced with all the testing Ford required.
Update for anyone curious. After a month of tests ordered by Ford Engineering, the dealership was finally able to fix the issue. The number 1 and number four direct injectors were leaking. 2 new injectors and it runs better than new. The dealership said they've been having problems with new...
Update 2: My dealer replaced that fuel rail, and it did not fix it. They still do not know what's wrong with it, and has been in contact with Ford engineering for a week. Apparently they're going to try some more tests and a fuel system reset. Next Tuesday will mark 1 month of it sitting in the...
Update:
Finally received communication from my dealer. Apparently the replacement rail came in twisted on Monday, and with a rush order placed then, the 2nd replacement is due in tomorrow afternoon. Kinda makes me worried if Ford has now supplied 1 customer 2 faulty fuel rails
There were multiple codes, I should've scanned it before I took it in the first time. Now I only know what they're telling me on that visit, and all they told me about/put on the receipt were misfire codes
I should add, the part they allegedly have on order now is a fuel rail, which as far as I know is basically a tube. I'm not really sure how it could cause a misfire. And shockingly the specific cylinder misfire never came back after they replaced the evap valve. I'd post the service receipt, but...
Figured I'd post this to see if anyone else has had this issue. I picked up my 2025 Base 2dr 7mt on Sept. 4. On Sept. 8, when I was leaving for work, I got a check engine light. Around 450km on the vehicle. Took it right in to my dealer (already had an appointment for MIC top issues), and after...
I wasn't in QA hold, and I didn't "opt out". Mine just showed up at the dealer last week. I asked about getting it and was told I can have it this Thursday. Salesman called me today and said the tow package is on backorder, but I can just take it and they'll call me when it comes in. The only...
Just talked to my dealer today and I'm picking it up tomorrow. However, for all of your information, the tow package is on backorder. At least for me they can deliver now and install later, but I don't know if that may delay new builds for the US market. Your tow package may have to exist before...
Should've phrased it better, yeah they can totally track it and know where it is. Estimating when it will get there is a bit more challenging. They're lying to Ford and Ford is lying to you
I was pretty happy to see it! Plus if yours is going rail, Ford really has zero idea from when it goes on the train, until it comes off, so it's a very real possibility that yours could just show up
Initially after it said "built" the delivery estimate was between the 19th and 24th of September, but the date changed 1 or 2 times a week after that. I didn't trust it, until it showed delivered. I drove by that day, my dealer is 1.5km from my house so I figured I may as well check. Saw it...
I'm kind of surprised, as it was initially only supposed to deliver about 3 days before yours, and the date kept getting changed in the tracker. The last change ended up putting estimated delivery 3 days in the past, before just saying delivered. Almost makes me think that Ford never really...
The dealer finally got mine in yesterday, and now it just needs to get prepped for me to take delivery. That's about 4 months from order to the dealer receiving it. Hopefully the manual is worth the wait. I'd imagine if you ordered one now, it would be December by the time you get it
My tracker updated and now shows an ETA of 08/30/25-09/05/25. Down from before when it was 09/19/25-09/25/25. I think it has something to do with my dealer ordering a couple F-150s, as mine is convoy transport all the way, no rail involved.
It seems like they're well in to this run of 2dr manuals, mine just updated to built last night. You had an earlier build date than me so you can't be too long out for that "built" notification
