Man I'm so torn on this. Every hour I switch between Badlands, BaseSquatch and a Rubicon. All I want is a 2.7 BaseSquatch plus 12" display, marine grade vinyl seats and the 360 camera. Couldn't give a crap about the extra features I'm forced to buy just to get those 3 extra things...
Both I think. If the seat covers aren't enough to protect against water getting under it, I'd be open to just swapping out the seats if possible. Haven't found anything on google about this...
re: marine grade vinyl, does anyone know anything about aftermarket seats? MGV seats is something I absolutely want but now I'm thinking a BD will be plenty for my needs. How difficult/costly would it be to throw in new seats? Will MGV seat covers accomplish the same thing?
Really tough decision but it looks like this is the issue that finally disqualifies me... I wanted a fully loaded BL but there are just too many oversights and compromises to justify being a 1st year guinea pig at this price tag. I'd drop down to a base 2dr if more options were a-la-carte, but...
lol I just want to know exactly what I'm dropping $65k on! But yes I know the risk(s). Definitely place your orders though- worst case we can reject it when we see it in person (or flip it!) but if we cancel now we'll always wonder what could have been... lol
And I feel for them, I really do. But those of us lucky enough to be able to decide between giving up another summer without a truck or grabbing different vehicle and catching a later Bronco come here to the forums to talk it out.
Next time you're torn between what to have for dessert remember...
I didn't read anything about the fear of LOSING our 2021 reservation, rather the fear of DELAYING our 2021 delivery- though if color matched tops are delayed into 2022, that would qualify as LOSING a 2021 delivery in exchange for a 2022.
I think most people here simply want their color matched...
I keep reading about this 6% discount off but can't find the origin, what exactly are you referring to? Just trying to figure out what my dealer SHOULD be charging so I don't get ripped off...
I thought the same thing but realized that maybe adding the winch, led lightbar, tube doors etc. might push me back significantly as far as delivery date. I'd much rather get the Bronco quickly and add accessories as they become available.
How are other dealers doing this? I'm worried my...
About a week ago my dealer also asked me to send him my B&P link:
"Registrations to order will be pulled according to when the registrations were received. You will receive notice from Ford and us when it is time to convert your registration to an order. At that time, we will review and confirm...
Big picture? Sure, both sides should make rapid improvements throughout the upcoming years based on outdoing one another. But when it comes to dropping $65k on a Bronco in 2021 it'd be comforting to know I won't be made obsolete by the 2022 Bronco- or the 2020 Rubicon for that matter.
The...
This shot of the back is light-years away from the next shot of the front in terms of color. I had to watch several times to make sure they didn't splice in the wrong footage from carbonized gray, with the rest of the footage clearly showing area 51.
I guess this adds to my confusion of which...
Is the front locker/disco bar really that unnecessary? This will be my first "proper" truck and while I don't plan on rock crawling much, I assumed having all the extras would help boost resale value should I want to trade up in the near future, say to a Warthog. Starting to second guess that...
Incorrect. I'm paying cash for my Bronco yet have a problem putting down $1-2k+ on a car that I haven't seen anything past the pre-production model yet.
the things I could do to make $5k work for me in the market for 6-18 months instead letting the dealer make interest off it...
I've ordered several new cars and have always been required to place a deposit. Then again I actually got to see said cars in person, test drive them and know I'm...
