Relocating (or adding a different type of switch) would fix this really bad UX design. People have been trained for over a century to yank hard on that brake to park...

Key fobs are matched to the car, and they talk back and forth to the car in a way that's different every time. A thief can't simply record the conversation and play it back. You can't clone a key.
What thieves do do is use a radio booster to extend the range of your key in your house so the car...
My Heritage salesperson is asking the sales manager to ask Ford what's up. I'm pretty sure that no one has tried this before, and that's why we never get updates :cool:

Considering that there is a pile-up of HE stuck "In Production" since January with no explanation from Ford even to the dealers, there's nothing to make sense of yet.
Another week of no update since 1/18 "In Production"
Wondering if paying the premium price for an HE manual is worth it, if this is any indication of modern Ford.
