I think that it's logistics and not QC issues with most. If ford had better messaging on status I would have kept with my order, but months of zero communication is why I abandoned it, not the worry over what was broken so bad it took a quarter-year to fix 🤑
Final update: too late for me because I bought something else already, but someone in OH will get a nice HE manual soon! Is this the last of the stuck January vehicles?
Not seeing any thermal problems, that exhaustfan should be enough. Really like the packaging you did, bet it'll stand up to some good bouncing around 👌
I admit that my first mod was paracord grab handles. I don't need one to get in, but my Escape had a handle up there and I really like hanging my arm off it when cruising down the nice beach road here.
If you don't like casually hanging your arm from a grab-handle while cruising down the road...
It's a good service, I just don't like how it categories your examples and I never hear anything new or surprising. That being said, sometimes I want that 🤘
Jeeps get Angry and Broncos get Grumpy. There's a whole series of memes and quotes waiting to happen here... I'm going to dust off my Disneyland Grumpy dwarf hoodie today!
Go Spartans! I have two grandkids who are Spartans :muscle:
Even Ford detractors admit that the one thing that Ford gets right is delivering a rewarding driver experience. Glad that your story ended up being amazing
Picked up my new 2dr OBX 2.3L automatic non-SAS today. Trip report:
Tires... it should be a federal crime for dealers to let these off the lot at 45lbs pressure cold
Not a fan of the "lifted truck tailgating within 3 inches at 80mph" Detroit culture, eh? 😋
FWIW I get an OBX non SAS this weekend. Not for these reasons, but availability and price points I had to work within. 🤑
I decided to game the system by not playing the game any longer. All exits are valid when you're escaping someone else's maze ✨️
Picking up an OBX 2dr this weekend. Even the dealer has stopped sending a note each week of no change, I still watch the VIN to find out how the story ends 🙂
Picking up this Saturday, mainly to conquer the mean streets of the big city, not gonna lie, not going crawling but I'll hit desert roads occasionally :bandit:
2023 OBX 2.3 auto 2dr high package - fit and finish are very nice, thanks UAW :muscle:
Adding another data point, I took over someone's abandoned 4dr HE manual order, which stayed "In Production" too long, so now that order is abandoned twice... I guess the rattle/grindy Getrag transmission problem really shook the market. Way outside your geographical area, though.
