May I ask why you prefer molded vs painted? Is it durability when handling or storing it?

My point is Outer Banks has body painted flares. It's common knowledge. The $1,000,000 question is whether Ford will offer white or possibly silver painted flares as an option on other trims.

I have no interest in flying out of state to drive the car back. So with a transport fee of ~$1200 and the hoops to get the car registered in CA paying $1k under invoice isn't incentive enough.

I suppose that will work. Ordering a new car straight from the factory is new territory for me. I suspect negotiating bottom line price months in advance of the dealership being able to place said order will be new territory for the dealer as well.
