Larry — I expect that you’ve seen plenty of my posts, before, so I won’t waste too much time. Kearny Mesa has posted that they will still do the X Plan (value) discount. We both know they are near you in socal, so give Eric a chance to earn your business.
Yepper. It's the old "I work at a Ford dealership" trick! After 6-years, he hasn't learned how to talk to potential customers. It's no wonder that people become demoralized to talk to most car salesmen.
Well, because they announced early that they would price competitively, in the way that a legitimate Volume Dealer would price a Bronco. They had initially offered $1000 under invoice as their baseline pricing.
It didn't take too long, before customers with a qualified X Plan would ask how...
NOT TRUE. Kearny Mesa, in San Diego (Eric) is offering the recently discontinued (by Ford) X Plan pricing (as a value credit) against the MSRP, for both existing reservations and for any new reservations that transfer (with a qualified X Plan Pin number). With any luck, he will be able to take...
What you're missing is that by doing it your way, you are REWARDING the dealer that screws you over. I would happily spend a $1000 bucks on meals, hotel, and travel cost, to buy from someone that hasn't put a stick up my azz!
So, why not just be true to your heart. If your dealer hasn't already come forward with a planned reduction in cost, to make up for our loss of the X Plan, then why not just leave them in the dust.
Moving to an honest and up front dealer that announces that they want to work with you to get...
X Plan values were shown to be different, for every model. On a Base, it was previously shown to be worth, just under $400. On a Wildtrak, it was shown to be worth about $1900, with all the other models somewhere in between. So, I'm lost with the intent of your post???
Not really, but:
Any Bronco that was legitimately ordered by a customer... then not delivered, due to a customer circumstance (bad credit, marriage, new baby takes priority, relocation, or even just changed my mind), will go to that dealers inventory (to be sold).
Reservation holders have...
The MAP will assemble both Bronco and Ranger, with a 60/40 split. This will result in +/-2500 Broncos, per week. You can take this information to the bank!
Huh... I wish the Allocation cut-off date was July 31. Then two things would happen: 1) the earlier reservations, filled in 2021, would be more unique (based on the shorter supply delivered to the customer); and 2) they would start building/selling 2022 Models, probably around October (more in...
I say it all the time. Take the pressure off yourself and call Eric, at Kearny Mesa. It’s just one trip to San Diego to pick it up, and you can get service, anywhere. He’ll talk through any questions you have, and confirm his policy with you, in writing. Why worry about all these dumbxxxxs?
