I have it on my 16 focus. Works great. But I also know how to keep it from engaging if I want rock at a light. Plus it's really easy to turn off through the sync system.
I'm going to drive cross country in it and use it to get to mountain trailheads that my Focus shouldn't make it to (but does sometimes). My basic camping gear (hammock, rain fly) will stay under the back seat.
I'm going to sit in it my driveway and love it.
This will be the third manual in our driveway. If the tundra came in a manual, that would be another. My 13 year old is already learning to drive a stick.
Manual for me. My focus with the 2.0 and 5 speed has plenty of pep. This will have 80% more ponies and a couple extra gears. I'm good.
Not to mention, theres a dealer out there with a lifetime powertrain warranty (Leo Kaytes Ford).
Mickey, I'd love more information on the lifetime warranty. I had one on an E350, but when I had an issue, it became a nightmare to deal with it. Ended up fixing it myself because they were very coy in admitting it's only lifetime if the value of the vehicle is a certain amount over the value...
