When I saw mine before they prepped it, I saw the front license plate holder in the passenger seat. I looked at it and said, "That's a hard no." The sales manager walked off with it so it wouldn't end up on my Bronco by mistake. I have an alternative solution until something better comes along.

No. MIC in this context, as other posters have said, means Michigan Assembly Plant. It has nothing to do with Molded In Color tops. The most likely order of MIC replacement is in the same order as blend number/rotation number since they said they would replace them from oldest to newest.
